When my wife naturalized her ceremony was at a courthouse and guests were allowed. What was interesting is no one could bring in a cell phone (except of course the judges, and lawyers), but you could bring in tablets. Go figure.

Diversity is core to our mission
Dashinka replied to Boiler's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
I keep hearing the word "Diversity", but it seems the definition is constantly changing which of course is an affliction of those on the Left. If you have two people in a group that come from different life experiences, isn't that diverse, or is there something else that needs to occur, or been seen to satisfy the current regressive definition? -
Can I return to America?

I vote for the paralegal as well. We are seeing more and more of these stories lately, but your case is simpler, you have a valid physical GC, so you should have no issues boarding a plane. You can also depending on your eventual route, maybe find an airport with CBP pre-clearance in your route (fly through Canada, Ireland, Abu Dhabi, Bahamas, Bermuda, or Aruba), I expect these CBP officers are a little less stressed. Good Luck! -
If you are on contract are you really employed by that company? I would think you would be considered self-employed, but others may know this better. You do need to print and sign the I864. Congrats on the pending arrival, hopefully you are researching CRBA as well. As to the household size, you can only put what it is today. You can prepare a new I864 for updating later or taking to the interview. The CR1 vs. IR1 is not anything you need to do. During the interview the CO should note that the marriage is more than 2 years old, and the visa should be issued that way, but in the event it is not, that is not really a big deal as the 2yr vs the 10yr GC is actually determined at entry, so if the visa is actually showing CR1, then when you do repatriate with your family you need to bring this up to the CBP officer, so they note when they stamp your husband's visa it is IR1. Good Luck!

The Dems, and the state sponsored MSM are doing everything they can to discredit or completely ignore all of this. Here is a great analysis from Jonathan Turley. America’s state media: The blackout on Biden corruption is truly ‘Pulitzer-level stuff’ https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/4003066-americas-state-media-the-blackout-on-biden-corruption-is-truly-pulitzer-level-stuff/

How many phones are being ditched the moment those that receive them head out? What amazes me about the Democrats is they believe these folks will thank them in time for what they did, but many of the folks streaming across now are also fleeing socialism under a repressive government, and if they are anything like my wife, they understand the negatives of socialism in general and do not want that. I will say though that the thing that troubles me is not the simple immigrant crossing, asking for asylum, with little hope of actually getting it approves, as they are a victim of circumstance with no other pathway here, it is the criminals that are definitely mixed in with these folks, or the criminals groups that will essentially keep many of these innocent folks in some form of indentured servitude for along period. The main thing is there needs to be some control and yet this current administration decided they could not care less about controlling the border. Why should anyone filing for a spousal visa or family based visa that cannot afford the I864P poverty level do it legally when they see it is very easy to do it the Biden/Myorkas way?

Mostly peaceful, and oh so tolerant. -
The wife's son lives half a world away, and even though Russia does not celebrate Mother's Day until November 26th this year (last Sunday in November) he remined her when they talked yesterday. Unfortunately for both of us now, neither of our mothers are still with us. Beyond that, it is just the spoiled rotten yellow Lab at home now.

Here may be some helpful links depending on the state where you reside. I agree with @milimelo, your husband should get himself removed from the voter registry as soon as possible. If he actually did vote in a federal election, and possibly even in a state or local election, you may want to consult with an attorney. Good Luck! https://www.eac.gov/voters/voter-registration-cancellations

Es, they are after your kids, and they are attacking anyone that questions them. So tolerant the Left.

It does seem like the Democrats are pulling out all stops to bring their loyal gaslighted base back into line. On another note, apparently the Democrats in CA have an issue with math. Gov. Newsom announces $32 billion budget deficit, $10 billion more than previously estimated https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gov-newsom-announces-32-billion-budget-deficit-10-billion-more-than-previously-estimated

I need to start writing down these ideas. 🙂 Crossing at Port Huron, Detroit or Sault Ste. Marie would work.

The I90 for a replacement card is taking close to 2 years. Won’t help too much for a quick visit in the immediate future, but may help if she wants to relocate.
