  1. The world would be a much nicer place with fewer lawyers.
  2. I did not think the I485 allowed for uploading of evidence.
  3. This is between you and your now boyfriend. The mother may have some influence, but in the end it is your decision. I agree with the other responses. The spousal visa is the best option, but start planning for a 12-18 month wait (after the wedding). Good Luck!
  4. My wife just completed 5 flights in about 35 hrs with no issues. I am all but certain the media loves to hype these very rare issues.
  5. My wife and I often plan road trips after 10pm to avoid the inept drivers.
  6. I do the same thing, except for the beer of course, and then leave in 5-10 minutes with another 500 miles of range before I need to stop again.
  7. Hmm, a Democrat saying they do not need to follow the Constitution or be truth to the oath she took. I guess it is fine because…Democrat. "No constitutional right, in my view, including my oath, is intended to be absolute," she retorted. Grisham cited restrictions on free speech as an example of how rights can be curtailed in emergency situations. Commentators across X, formerly known as Twitter, angrily responded to the governor's statement, with some calling for her impeachment. "At risk of stating what should be obvious, deliberately violating the Constitution is next-level illegal. How soon can this person be removed from office?" Elon Musk asked. https://www.foxnews.com/media/new-mexico-governor-shocks-comment-constitution-issuing-temporary-gun-ban-not-absolute
  8. Not much more to add here…progress? Transgender cyclists Evelyn Williamson and Tessa Johnson hammer female competition at Illinois races Two transgender cyclists sparked backlash after hammering biological female competitors to take gold medals at two separate championships - with one previously in a 'throuple' with another trans athlete caught shoving a female competitor in 2022. Evelyn Williamson and Tessa Johnson, who were both born biologically male and transitioned to female before embarking on their run of cycling dominance, were seen arm in arm atop the podium as they celebrated victory in a relay race last week at the Illinois state championships. The cycling duo's controversial win on August 31 came days after they also won the Racing-Athletic Relay Cross in Chicago on August 27 - competing under the team name 'TS-ESTRODOLLS' in reference to the female hormone estrogen. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12498289/Two-transgender-cyclists-hammer-female-competition-Illinois-THROUPLE-controversial-trans-rid-filmed-shoving-biological-woman.html
  9. All expedite requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. It is free to request, so sure try, but no one here can really say if it will be approved or not. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck!
  10. I agree that seemed a bit confusing. It sounds like CT passed a new law prohibiting open carry, but I believe they still allow concealed carry with a permit. It is all "progress".
  11. Hmm, guns do have a purpose. 12 Defensive Gun Uses Show That Armed Citizens Make Communities Safer As the nation continues to reel from historic violent crime spikes, many gun control activists turn reflexively to the same “bumper sticker slogan” policy “solutions” that fail to address real problems while often undermining the Second Amendment rights of peaceable citizens. Last week, some Hartford, Connecticut, residents made headlines for taking a different approach. Instead of demanding that their fellow citizens abandon their rights to armed self-defense, they announced that they would henceforth start exercising those rights in a public manner to enhance community safety. These residents say they will soon start conducting “legal, armed community patrols” on a regular basis, with the goal of preventing gun violence in a city experiencing homicide totals not seen in several decades. Organizers told reporters that patrol members will be trained to calmly de-escalate situations when possible and emphasized that they won’t openly carry firearms once a new state law prohibiting the practice goes into effect. The Hartford Police Department, to its credit, has indicated that these community patrols won’t face pushback from officers “as long as they are operating within the law,” acknowledging that these citizens “have Second Amendment rights like the rest of us.” https://www.dailysignal.com/2023/09/07/12-defensive-gun-uses-show-armed-citizens-make-communities-safer/
  12. Biden needs to make the US much more dependent on less than friendly countries. Gotta love the failed policies of the Democrat/Left "progressives".
  13. Haven't had an electric bill over 200 this year. Of course I do not have an EV, and the Summer was very mild up here so not a lot of AC operation.
  14. I am fairly certain that hospitals and Drs. killed more covid patients than the actual virus did.
  15. This should help. https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2022-Jun/CBP Form 6059B_English.pdf
  16. Unfortunately, it probably will. It gets the folks like Adams and Hochul back in line, and then they can dump all the blame on the likes of Abbott. Too bad the people of AZ choose to elect a failed progressive Leftist as governor.
  17. Big brother is watching, what else is new.
  18. So how does this work? Will there be cages? Also, if someone fails the initial asylum claim and they are from a country other than Mexico, are they deported to Mexico? To me, this would be more of an incentive for these folks to want to get to a sanctuary city/state.
  19. From what you said, you should be fine as it does not appear you are entering with a lot of material that needs to be declared. The only question I have is how far are you from your 2nd wedding anniversary in relation to your planned entry? Overall, I would not expect a lot trouble at MSP. Reviewing the comments here, although a bit dated, seem to show the same theme of there being relatively little hassle. Good Luck!
  20. I agree with the other responses. If you are ready for marriage, head to the Justice of the Peace, tie the knot, and get the AOS package in as soon as you can. Here is a guide that might be helpful. Good Luck!
  21. Hmm, no mention of the fact the Biden Administration has been Re-locating people since they took office, many of them to the NYC area.
