I am from the government and I am here to help. Some folks here believe the Federal government (bureaucrats) is/are beyond reproach, and they will make it good. Hmm, does seem so in this case.

For a lawsuit, there needs to be a victim, where were the banks that were defrauded? If Trump over estimated his worth, does NY owe him a tax refund? If a bank took his word for the value of something, I would like to know which ones as I would not want to invest in a company that does not do due diligence in a large business transaction. Just saying all people of NY are the victims are a cop out. Explain how we are all victims of Trump based on this lawsuit?

I assume when they naturalized in Canada they were older than 54 therefore not required to pass the English or French language test. What did they do for that interview?

Since the I751 and the N400 run on separate clocks at least until the point where the N400 is nearing approval, it makes sense, if naturalization is the ultimate goal, get that clock running. Now this was about the time where USCIS was beginning to deprioritize I751s (late 2016), and filing the N400 didn't really do anything to speed up the I751 as those filing the I751 at the same time as us got their approvals around the same time that we were approved, but my wife also had her N400 approved at the same time and was done. Are you saying if you are an innocent person, and do business innocently with a company that is found to also be operating in the criminal realm, you forfeit everything to the government and its less than honest agencies? How do you know the FBI will make good on its claims. There are plenty of stories of how lower level FBI agents failed to do their jobs allowing criminals to flourish. Look at how the FBI agents in Indianapolis allowed Larry Nasser to continue his despicable actions. The division and hatred is fomented by both sides of the political aisle aided by the political activists in the media. I guess you forget what happened after the 2000, 2004, and 2016 elections. Why do you feel the need to put so much trust in government where no one is held accountable, and everyone lies.

You may try contacting your US Senator or US Representative to send an inquiry to the Consulate on your behalf, but YMMV. It is hard to say how long the "Refused" or "Administrative Processing" status will take, some are short and some are quite long.
