    The spousal visa category for a USC's spouse does not allow for derivatives which is why you had to file separate I130's for each principle applicant. Therefore each I130 should have their own I864. I also am not aware of a set timeline- for working, but I would say 3-6 months would be good. Good Luck!

    Definitely, the logistics of an amphibious assault are quite daunting. I am not sure if there is an active resistance or pro-CCP group in Taiwan like there was in France in 1944, but I highly doubt it or we would be hearing something about it.

    I agree with @Mike E. There is no set in stone requirement from USCIS, DHS, or CBP, but the general rule of thumb is more time outside the US than inside between trips. Btw, did you look at trying to expedite the spousal visa application due to the military deployment? Good Luck!

    Yes, it is very interesting that he basically got off scott free on the most serious charge and something the Left has been telling us is a very serious problem. We had a similar situation in MI where a guy was found to be illegally carrying a concealed firearm, and the leftist prosecutor chose not to prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law which would have resulted in hi being incarcerated for 5 years. Instead, a slap on the wrist and then he went on to shoot up a classroom at Michigan State University. Those families and persons impacted are suing the university when they actually should be suing the former prosecutor.

    Thanks for the explanation as I was not entirely familiar with the I-193. Of course that all depends on the carrier actually boarding them or at least him with an expired GC. I suppose the OP can claim they will cover the cost of the I-193, but a carrier may not take that chance. I would think the land crossing with an I-90 NOA would be a better option.

    Ok, I will bite, how does or would the I-193 apply here? Are you saying since the husband (I think it was the husband) was denied ESTA they can apply to enter the US on an expired GC and no visa, or are you equating an expired GC the same a no visa?

    Excellent analysis. It is interesting, I have heard Vindman's name a few times this week. What a joke of a person, but now it is clear he is trying to make a profit for himself. What else is new for a member of the DC swamp. I have noticed that since Ukraine launched their counter-offensive, there has been very little news. I do expect Zelenskyy to start a new round of begging/blackmailing soon though.

    This is so true. With Biden and the establishment running things, Xi knows he can do whatever he wants and he knows how the US will respond. With Trump there was no prediction. So what do we do in the US, we elect a laughingstock wannabe dictator in 2020. If anybody thinks (a la Lindsey Graham) that American aid to Ukraine has kept Xi from invading Taiwan—well, that’s a joke. Xi Jinping does NOT fear Joe Biden. He laughs at him, like everybody else in the world.

    That is interesting as I would think an LPR would not be granted ESTA, but I am not familiar with that process, so maybe just a fluke of the bureaucracy.

    If you are allowed to keep your old passport, it is always a good idea to do that. If you are not allowed, then make copies of all the relevant pages. No, people go through this all the time. No, the petitioner is responsible for financial support via the I134 and eventually the I864 at the AOS stage. Good Luck!

    Did you save it as a PDF? Usually that compresses it a bit. Was it a copy of the full return or was it an IRS tax transcript? Beyond that, tax returns are not required documents to actually submit the N400, they are required for the interview stage though. Good Luck!
