  1. Op, just curious, how close are you to your 2nd wedding anniversary?
  2. The English seem to get it, not sure why the Democrats here in the US do not.
  3. Well, Mayor Pete is not a very good transportation Secretary, so I guess he needs some deflection. Receipts please. Pete Buttigieg claims Colorado graphic designer Lorie Smith deliberately 'provoked' Supreme Court gay wedding website case for the 'clear purpose of chipping away' at LGBTQ rights https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12259019/Pete-Buttigieg-claims-Colorado-graphic-designer-provoked-Supreme-Court-case.html
  4. Hmm, maybe the Amish know what to do. Unvaxxed Amish COVID death rates 90 times lower than the rest of the country https://slaynews.com/news/unvaxxed-amish-death-rates-90-times-lower-rest-america/
  5. So the totalitarian Zelensky is commenting on July 4th. Is this a signal he is coming for more money, or is he going to ask for manpower soon? https://thehill.com/homenews/4079131-zelensky-to-us-on-independence-day-ukraine-grateful-for-support/
  6. Well I see a couple of things going on. You can have a parent that is sort of like a pageant parent looking for their own attention by promoting the fact they have a trans child. You can have parents that are given a Sophie’s Choice by a medical professional with the choice of either doing this, or seeing their child commit suicide. And of course there are the groomers out there and some states making laws (guess which ones) which allow the children to make the decision without the parents input. I am sure there are other avenues, but it is amazing this country, at least those in the tolerant Left, is allowing this to be done on children. SMH. My thought is if a child can make this life altering decision, why is owning a firearm, or buying alcohol still restricted. This is so well said. What it demonstrates to me, since almost all of this push in the US is coming from one political ideology, is that those on the Left in the US do not care about children. The interesting thing is often the Left in the US seems to follow the progressives from Europe, but in this case European actions are being ignored by the Left groomers and activists.
  7. Always knew Jen P. was tone deaf, I guess I did not realize how bad. Psaki attempts to scare Muslim parents from opposing transgender ideology in schools: GOP 'trying to recruit' The former White House press secretary claimed on her Sunday show, "Inside with Jen Psaki," that the Republican Party was dividing Muslims from transgender people, and listed why she believed the GOP was a danger to the Muslim community. The comments were first noted by Kevin Tober at Media Research Center. "The GOP successfully managed to split off Southern Whites from the Democratic Party. Now, decades later, the right wing is reviving that same playbook, this time with Muslim-Americans and trans people," said Psaki. "The GOP is trying to recruit Muslim-Americans… against another tiny marginalized group of Americans, transgender people." The Director of the Islam and Religious Freedom Action Team for the Religious Freedom Institute, Ismail Royer, told Fox News Digital that Psaki's remarks were insulting to Muslims. https://www.foxnews.com/media/psaki-attempts-scare-muslim-parents-opposing-transgender-ideology-schools-gop-trying-recruit
  8. No copies of the passport bio pages and marriage certificate should be fine. Tax transcript printouts should be fine. you will be fine. For some reason the DOS only shows wait times for non-immigrant visas. Good Luck!
  9. I wonder what releases the Drs. performing these irreversible procedures are having the kid and their family sign to try and avoid lawsuits if she decides in a few years they made a mistake?
  10. Sorry for your experience. This is the reason many recommend scrapping a K1 for a spousal visa especially when participating in a cultural ceremony that may or may not look like a wedding. The key is a K1 denial cannot be appealed if like you, you get to the interview and the CO decides you are too married for a K1. Thanks for sharing your experience.
  11. If the system was efficient, filing an I130 would automatically cancel a previous I129F filing, it there are stories where that did not happen and the I129F proceeded causing headaches in the future. There is no requirement to send a letter requesting a cancellation of the I129F when switching to a spousal visa, but many folks do it, and many here like myself will recommend it. Good Luck!
  12. Did you pay the fee for the GC? If you did it can take 4-8 weeks for the actual GC to arrive. https://my.uscis.gov/uscis-immigrant-fee
  13. Your wife is the petitioner, you are the beneficiary. It sounds like this is what was messed up and why your wife’s name was used for the medical documents. I am not sure if this can be fixed by filling out a new DS260. Is the case definitely back at NVC?
  14. Did you review the DS260 to see what name was listed as the beneficiary?
  15. When my wife filled out her N400 under the 3 year rule, she only included her residence from the date she entered on her K1. So yes, it was only about 4 years of residence history. Good Luck!
  16. I would fill out an updated I864 and upload it. CO’s are not required to look at anything brought to the interview. Good Luck!
  17. In other news, Joe Biden is still corrupt. Btw, this really belongs in the election thread as it really has nothing to do with Trump being charged by a questionable federal prosecutor. I really doubted the APA would support Trump, but I do wonder if they will support Old Corrupt Joe if Trump wins the GOP Primary.
  18. No worries, Old Corrupt Joe will address the country today, after a nap I assume, and call out SCOTUS putting a target on at least six of their backs.
  19. Wait, I always hear the Democrats/Left are all about tolerance, and are the “Big Top” Party. Are you saying this is not the case? 😇
  20. What I do not understand is the three Leftist justices voted in favor of religious rights on the postal worker case released yesterday, but voted against this one released today. Supreme Court rules in favor of Colorado graphic designer who refused to create same-sex wedding websites The U.S. Supreme Court held that a Colorado graphic designer who wants to make wedding websites does not have to create them for same-sex marriages, in a landmark decision that pit the interests of LGBTQ non-discrimination against First Amendment freedom. In a 6-3 decision issued Friday, the high court ruled in favor of artist Lorie Smith, who sued the state over its anti-discrimination law that prohibited businesses providing sales or other accommodations to the public from denying service based on a customer's sexual orientation. Justice Neil Gorsuch authored the majority opinion, which said that, "In this case, Colorado seeks to force an individual to speak in ways that align with its views but defy her conscience about a matter of major significance." https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/supreme-court-rules-in-favor-of-colorado-graphic-designer-who-refused-to-create-same-sex-wedding-websites/ar-AA1dg4M7
  21. Wait, do you mean I won't be able to pay for someone else's personal debt? Darn!
