I understand after info pass appointment my case has been placed in supervisor review in a local office. They are now processing July cases. What could the investigation be about. Before noa2 who would be getting investigated - the petitioner or the applicant? I am the us citizen. What kind of things could they be investigating and why? Neither of us have criminal backgrounds. So this is the hold up. Could it be divorce papers, naturalization papers, traffic tickets? Really upset now because we don't deserve this. So we keep waiting. I guess I have to wait til they investigate all the July cases and hope they touch mine. How do you determine who gets investigated or is it everyone who applies? Thanks for help.

Hi trisha. Can you tell me how to contact congressman or senator. I live in long island new York and I am petitioning for my fiance. It's been since July/august and still nothing with noa2. I tried to contact you when you sent friend request. Hope we all get approval but I would like to use your congressman idea. Please help.

How do you contact the Uscis HEAD OFFICE? I have been waiting for k1 noa2. I filed in July 2013 and then transferred to Texas in August 2013 and then transferred to a local new York office which I have no idea why? This is the most frustrating thing I have ever been through. If someone has a way to contact Uscis head office I would appreciate it. I am also so tired of waiting. No rfes either. Also do you think a previous marriage ending in divorce (which divorce copy was submitted with 129F) would hold up things a bit as far as more investigation. We have been together for almost 6 years and we are So upset. Don't know what to do but wait and wait and getting more nervous.

If your k1 visa gets denied, can you get married right away or do you have to wait for actual denial letter?

In case you are not approved on a k1 visa is there a waiting time before you can reapply either for k1 or cr1 marriage visa? Just curious just in case

When did you apply And were you transferred? What country is fiance from? I applied in July and transferred to tsc in August. I have not received noa2 yet either. But I heard they are working on July and August k1 petitions now. Don't know how true this is. But it is discouraging to hear that it could take 8 months:(. Wow I never thought this long.

When did you guys apply? I applied for k2 visa in July and received no1a from Vermont. I was then transferred to Texas on August 9th. Does this mean my official date is now in August. You said something about Texas service center being up to July petitions? Does that mean they are about two weeks away from processing me?

Ok thank you. Maybe I will try my loc office to see if they can help. I also put in a service request with Uscis. I just don't know why some cases are touched so fast and others just sit? So far no RFE. I am going to wait a little bit more into January. Would it also help to email Uscis as well.

About 4 1/2 months without noa2. I just see people getting approved after a month or two and it gets me upset that I have not heard anything

Yes I have called Uscis. I recently put in service request. My case went to Vermont and was then transferred to Texas. I did not get any RFE? Can it take this long?

Yes I have my receipt number and so does my lawyer. I check the Uscis case status several times a day. I have called several times and all they say is that my case is still waiting adjudication. I just can't believe that from July I still have not heard anything other than the transfer to Texas in August. No rfes either.

Hi I am new to this site. I filed the fiancé visa in beginning July 2013. I received my noa1 approximately one week later. Then My case was transferred to Texas in August 2013. Other than that, have not received any other notifications like rfe or n0a2 or any update. Anyone else out there in the same boat. My relationship is well established. We have known each other for over 5 years. Have visited fiancé about 20 to 25 times. Don't know what the hold up could be. Any help would be appreciated. Oh by the way I also have a lawyer that submitted papers for me and we included passport stamps. Passport pictures, letters of intent, wedding itinerary, letters from family and friends, about 100 pictures of us alone, with his family as well, phone logs, emails, completed forms 129f, 325 for both from lawyer, Birth certificates, divor e papers, single status paper for him, copy If his passport and cedula. Don't know what else to do? Really upset now. Any ideas? Don't know what the hold up could be.
