  1. No updates from my side. More "touches" with no progress (at least that I can see). Last "touch" was this morning (09-May-2023). Status still shows: Ready
  2. Something is missing in this story. There is always a trigger. He will not just retaliate for no reason, something must have happened, he is not gonna just single out your fiancé like that. That same Dr. Has completed the medical for a lot of applicants in Morocco and he is still approved by the consulate.
  3. you can try a Community college, tuition is usually cheaper than a regular college. You have to show your own or your dad's wealth to be able to sponsor you as an international student in the US. I say wealth because it is very expensive (tuition, cost of living, room & board, and medical insurance). You can't rely on friends or not immediate family members to sponsor you. And most of all, you have to show strong ties to your home country, and justify why you chose the US to further your studies. Morocco has a lot of good schools also (they don't compare to the US, but, you will have to convince the CO why you picked the US) Good luck
  4. Tax year (2022) is the latest and is mandatory The other two (2021 and 2020) are optional NVC needs to see actual income: recent pay stubs or any proof of recent income is best
  5. Nothing yet They "touched" the case on Tuesday (Case last updated: 25-Apr-2023), but nothing so far
  6. One thing to keep in mind, brother (I believe a lot of people here on VJ will agree): The benefit of immigration is a privilege, not a right. USCIS and DHS (including Consulates and embassies) are not obligated to share any information. Pushing too hard may force them to deny based on not having all the information necessary to approve, so just be careful when you communicate with them
  7. what email did you use? support-morocco@ustraveldocs.com? They stopped responding to my emails a long time ago. The only response I was getting was that the case was still processing, and that I should wait
  8. This is really crazy. I have no idea what are they waiting for. I know they are very busy, especially in the mornings. Not really sure what takes them so long
  9. When my wife did her medical, they sent it to the consulate the same day. If the medical is the only thing missing after the interview, the consulate processes applications pretty quick, should get the passport back with the visa in couple of weeks. But, if the delay is for other documents, the process could take longer But again, every case is different, it is not a one size fits all Good luck to all
  10. Very good and congratulations. Very happy for you. Hopefully, all will go well Please say a prayer for us. We have been waiting for a year now after the interview and still nothing
  11. They will not talk to your family member, because they are not the involved party. Try to go yourself to take care of your business. No matter what the difficulties are, it is worth doing. Go see the doctors and "beg" them if you have to. Try your best to get the medical done before the interview The stress of waiting for the consulate the pick up the file after they put it to the side for something missing (like medical or any other documents) is painful. More painful than waiting for them to schedule the interview. I am speaking from experience here
  12. Don't rely on email, and try to call them around 1pm local time. At that time, they are done with candidates and only wait for lab results and X-rays. If you are from Casa, you can ask them to call you if they have a cancelation Try to get the medical done before the interview, so that the application is completed the day of the interview. Casablanca Consulate tend to delay application not closed on the same day (delays vary depending on the case)
  13. OP, don't be tempted to just hide the facts, even if your wife used fake credentials (fake name, and random SSN) to conceal her real identity. Don't take the chance of underestimating the capabilities of USCIS and Homeland Security, because it may lead to serious repercussions.
  14. This is really painful, I check ceac website like 100 times each day hoping for an update
  15. Anything yet? any updates? The waiting is killing me, they touched our file last week twice (Monday and Friday), and yet no updates at all
