  1. I sent an email to the listed ustraveldocs email and got a reply the very next day (yesterday) stating that the case is still under the review of the interviewing Consular Officer and that we will be contacted shortly regarding the case. It has been 52 days since they received the requested documents after the interview.
  2. This is really crazy I have lately seen some members state the same thing and that they have to wait for two more months to get the DQ message. This is ridiculous if it is the case
  3. you need to have a solid reason for the expedite.
  4. it depends on the consulate and how backlogged they are or how fast they work. Every consulate is different and every case is different
  5. Usually the Consulate gives you a pamphlet with all the information and direction on how to register with the courier services. You can also check on your country portal for past experiences
  6. This is common What they are saying is to get an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor to take with you to the interview, because they think most likely the CO will ask for one. What did you use for current income? amount in the 2021 tax return? or current based on pay slips and work contract?
  7. First Question: Are you required to take Affidavit of Support to Embassy? If required, you will need the original
  8. Good morning all, It has been50 days since the Consulate Generale received the requested documents after the interview. They still have my wife's passport. We haven't heard anything nor did we get any updates. The last time the case was updated was 23-May-2022 (the day they received the requested documents). So far, no news is good news, but the waiting game is really hard at this point. I sent several emails to ivcasablanca@state.gov asking for any updates but did not receive any replies. At this point, I am guessing they sent the documents to NVC and they are waiting for review (just a guess since it is silent)
  9. They should be in the last week of April this week
  10. ???? Usually when NVC accepts all documents the DQ message happens at the same time. Log in to ceac and check for new messages. You will either find the DQ message, or.... or you might find an FE message if they need more documents
  11. calm down and don't overthink the process. The process itself is simple unless you make it complicated Start with gathering the basics: everything you are required to submit to have the I-130 accepted (bare minimum) Add as much supporting evidence as you can: photos with family, multiple entries to visit spouse, chat screenshots, etc Money transfers from a female spouse USC to a husband in Morocco might be considered a scam, so be careful there
  12. This is very important: If the PETITIONER (in this case yourself) was previously married, you need to submit the original marriage certificate with translation (if not in english). Same thing for the applicant if they were previously married. Regardless of submitting divorce certificates, the COs in Casablanca are asking for all previous marriage certificates. This is what is holding our case since the 23rd of May. They asked for the petitioner's previous marriage certificate, even if the divorce certificate was submitted with the I-130 and with NVC supporting documents
  13. sent an inquiry April 25th for a case I am managing and received a response May 25th stating the file was requested for review and we should have a decision in 60 days. it has been 40 days now and no action so far.
  14. clear the cache on your browser or use a different browser
  15. Nothing yet. I have been trying to reach the Consulate via email to no answer. They don't answer the phone number they have listed either. So we are completely in the dark
  16. Have him bring all the medication his mom needs. There will be no issues at the customs. Couple of years ago my mom brought with her medication for a full two months (she was taking two pills a day). No issues at all at the customs. if she is bringing in any controlled substances, she needs to have a clear prescription and declare that at the customs
  17. usually, you get back to the end of the queue and you have to wait the whole time again. It is a painful process
  18. The date changes every time somebody "touches" the file. If this is the first time the date changed, it could mean that they received the document and it was added to the file, and now it is in the "queue" to be reviewed. But, who knows? there is no visibility of the process once at the consulates.
