Our Journey began about 2 and a half years ago. At the time, I was an avid user of ICQ, MSN, and Yahoo messaging. I would get unknown messages from people, and most of the time, I would ignore them. For some reason, I would always reply to messages from this one person. This went on for about 6 months. Then one day, I got another message from her, and we started talking. In the beginning, it was just a few messages every couple of days. Then, we started talking every day, despite the time difference(10 hours). We got to know each other very well. Most days, we would both put our webcams on, so we could see each other. In this way, I also got to know a few members of her family. After about 7 months of our daily talks, I made arrangements for 2 weeks off from work, and bought my plane tickets. I arrived in Istanbul on June 14th of this year. I met my wife in the flesh for the firstt ime. She was even more beautiful in person. During my time there, I met her entire family. Her father, 6 sisters and 2 brothers, numerous neices and nephews. I was an instant hit, they all loved me. We became engaged at this point. Her brother-in-law help me arrange a return trip. I went back in September of this year, and we were married. Now we are just waiting for the petitions to go through the channels, so we can be together, permanently.
I filed both petitions, before I returned the second time, thinking that doing so would allow her to accompany me home.
