I have the similar situation. How I called the US Embassy in Georgetown Guyana to find out an update on the 30th of December, they told me it is READY; but can't not give me more information. I now noticed that my case status said it was last updated on 30th Dec. 2013, i now noticed that there added to my case number.

Do they update your status when you call or e-mail for information?

Do they ammend your case number?

My number before my call on 12/30/2013 was GEO2013xxxx28; after my call is it GEO2013xxxx28 01 GEO.

Any assistant is greatly appreciated.

I received the same letter requesting that I fill out form DS160; but I didn't. My fiance received a letter form the US Embassy in the country he is in, and that letter states for him to fill out the DS-260.

Are you in the US or Finland? Are you the sponsporer?

I have received NOA2 since August 13, 2013 and I still have not heard from USCIS.
