  1. petitioner should write a letter of withdrawal to USCIS... Don't forget to include the receipt number, name & DOB of petitioner & the benificiary. I am not so sure if you need to notarized the letter. Hehe I was in same situation broke ip with fiancé before approval and I asked him to cancel the petition & he did. He wrote withrawal letter & notarized from his bank.. And after a month he got a letter that case is closed! Good luck

  2. It might affect your next petition if you are going to file again in next few months. They might suspect u that u are using Americans. But, I don't think it will affect your future petition as long as your previous petitions ate cancelled. Goodluck!! And pls don't worry too much about your future petition as if you really are planning to get one US citizen lover again :)

  3. You can still request to have it edited, sis. Attached is the screen-captured image for the instruction when you hover on the "i" icon beside the Passport number in the update profile window, which says: This field is read only. If you need to change the value, please use the Provide Feedback menu item to request the change.

Provide Feedback is the 5th option on the left of the screen. This is their online emailing tool. I am actually not 100% certain what the appropriate reason for you to choose, but the best bet is "Any other query". Write your concern on the comments section, with emphasis on your request for correction of your passport number details. Online inquiry normally has a lead time of ~24 hours (as in my experience). So, just be patient.

Or you can also probably call the USEM hotline if they can do something about it.

USEM contact details: (02) 982-5555 // (02 902-8930) - for calls within the Philippines and other countries aside from mainland United States

    Good luck, sis! smile.png
