April 26, 2005 we meet thru online chat, we've communicated almost daily from that day. It didn't take long after our first chat for me to start falling for her.
June 8, 2005 board a flight to Kazakhstan. About 24 hours later, I met Alma face to face for the first time. My first impressions were she was even more beautiful in person than her photos revealed and she had a wonderful smile.
I was only able to spend a week with Alma and her son. I got to meet her parents and also spent time exploring and learning about her culture and country.
June 14, 2005 I knelt down on one knee and humbly asked Alma to be my wife. And to my delight she accepted, of course or I wouldn't be here now, would I?
June 15, 2005 I had to leave my sweetheart behind and return home.

October 28, 2005 I-129F received at the TSC.

February 16 informed over phone that package left NVC for Almaty Kazakhstan that same day
February 21 received email from consular in Kazakhstan with attachments containing instructions and appointment for March 21, 2006 interview appointment!
March 14 appointment rescheduled because of difficulty obtaining police certificate from Moscow MVD through Russian consulate in Kazakhstan
May 2, new interview appointment
April 4 FINALLY police certificate in Alma's hands after waiting 4 months and we are able to reschedule interview date for April 13
