  1. I can feel you and you're right, I'm struggling with this never ending process from 2011, had my interview 70 days ago and I'm waiting my AP out, my life is put on hold and I don't even know how long we should wait

not that I'm impatient I just got many things to take care of and I don't know wether to wait or keep going with them, I'm tired of living away from the one I love and I don't even know if this K1 thing works or not....never been in this situation before

    thanks for your adivce

    good luck

  2. I had my interview at Islamabad consulate on 30th of July, my passport was retained and I was given a green slip known as 221g

it's not stated the reason as to why my case had been placed under AP (I'm female) it reads who's ineligible for US visa and that they MIGHT need further documents and I should be quick responding them

my fiance is an American I live in Pakistan legally but I ain't Pakistani I'm from another T country so ...

my interview took like 10 minutes and like all other cases the CO told me everything seems just fine, got my passport and birth certificate and stated the process takes 60 to 90 days

one month's passed but I wonder what do I do after 3 months? who's this congressman and where I can find him as I ain't very positive about the result...

  3. Received letter dated 8-26-2013 stating Visa denied due to moral turpitude - misleading a police, we can apply for a waiver I-601.

What is the best way to do this waiver? What do we need to put in the section which states why he should be allowed the waiver.

He had accident in 2007 where he was dumb and decided to lie and now he has done everything lawfully and abided and done what the judge ordered him. But this now leads us here. I need him to come to California so he can live here with me and get married here. I have a huge family and they cannot travel to Canada, I want him to live in CA forever near my family and he is fine with that. he has to be able to cross the border regardless to come and marry me and see my family and friends, my life here! he knows I am too close to my family and obviously CA is much better then Canada to me. I don't know what to do? please help and guide me. I am having the worst years of my life not knowing when to plan for my future and my wedding. please help!! I don't want to move there!

If you can apply for a waiver, the consular officer at the U.S. embassy or consulate where you applied will inform you how to apply.

Immigrant Visa and K Nonimmigrant Visa Applicants - If you can apply for a waiver, you must mail Form I-601, Application for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility, directly to a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Lockbox facility, with few exceptions. Learn more on the USCIS website.

but it's better if you could talk to a lawyer

  4. At this point the file will be sent back to USCIS, you will have to wait for the file to reach there. I believe you will then get a letter from USCIS also regarding the denial.

It doesn't read like you need additional security checks:

alien is ineligible to recieve a visa or such other documentation under section 212, or any other provision of law, (2) the application fails to comply with the provisions of this act, or the regulations issued hereunder, or (3) the consular officer knows or has reason to believe that such alien is ineligible to receive a visa or such other documentation under section 212, or any other provision of law. for US visa purposes, including ESTA this decision constitutes a denial of visa

    yeah that's what I think

although it clearly says your case has been placed under AP and stuff but the reason of denial isn't specified

they have my passport and birth certificate I really want them back

  5. What does your 221g say?

Ie were you asked to bring more documents/ proof, is i AP for name checks, something else...?

they didn't ask for any more documents or proof, the consular officer said everything seems fine I'm female and have a very unique name, probably name check?!

it states that your visa has been denied under section 221g of the immigration and nationality act which states that No visa or other documentation shall be issued to an alien if (1) it appears to the consular officer, from statements in the application, or in the papers sumbmitted therewith, that such alien is ineligible to recieve a visa or such other documentation under section 212, or any other provision of law, (2) the application fails to comply with the provisions of this act, or the regulations issued hereunder, or (3) the consular officer knows or has reason to believe that such alien is ineligible to receive a visa or such other documentation under section 212, or any other provision of law. for US visa purposes, including ESTA this decision constitutes a denial of visa

  6. Hi Everyone

I got my green slip (221g) one month ago, some say I should contact my congressman, the officer who interviewd me said the Administrative Processing would take 60 to 90 days so do you think I should contact the congressman now? if yes who's this congressman and where can I find him?

I'm just so disappointed and I think I'll get the final and official rejection in 2 months but it wouldn't harm if I try and talk to someone

I appreciate your response in advance
