I'm still in AP after 6 months and I get so exited when I hear they issue visas after long APs

I'm in AP for the past 6 months I doubt contacting my senator would do me any good though!

Although the wait is killing me right now and in the other hand I'm a non Pakistani living in Pakistan without my passport cuz my passport and birth-certificate are held by the consulate for half a year

The fact that I have no idea WHY am I waiting and what am I waiting for is giving me cancer

same here .... I had my interview on 31st of July, they held my passport and I'm still in AP

what i DO NOT understand is why there should be some more delay when they don't need ANY further documents there ain't no lacking documents needed and I don't even know why am I waiting and what for????

they do not update my status unless I email them

we had our wedding planned for 3 months ago we had plans for new year

honestly all the charm is killed

I had my interview 6 months ago at Islamabad embassy, they kept my passport and birth certificate. I'm still under AP
emailed them twice and got some autoreply like I just have to wait
I do not know how long they're gonna keep me under AP neither do I know how long they're gonna keep my passport and birth certificate and I have absolutally no idea what I should do

are you SURE the officer said you're APPROVED????

I'm not familiar with the culture and tradition of your country neither am I an expert in the visa business but all I can suggest is to wait for a while maybe? I mean why don't you give yourself and your fiancee some time? orgenize yourself financially in the mean while think about a better route to approach and start all over again

sometimes I feel they've totally forgotten my case

My interview was yesterday 9th December 2013 and they also gave me 221g green sheet to me and my sister, kept our passports and said nothing. Now our case status is showing AP.

you'll be out of AP soon

my interview was conducted on 31st of July 2013 and I'm put under AP ever since with a 221g green sheet...
they retained my Passport and Birth Certificate and my status hardly ever gets any update
emailed them twice and all I got was some irrelevant outoreply, no lacking document or further proof needed...I'm not Pakistani I'm living in Pakistan legally
what the hell am I supposed to do? the timeline I was given was 2 to 3 months and it's 4 months and 10 days now, I need to travel to another country I want my passport back but apparently there ain't no way to contact the US consulate

AIN'T THERE ANYONE IN HERE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING????????

everyone says it's Pakistan they need to check and double check but I know cases after cases getting approved without any further invistigation

you never can guess how long it's gonna take, for some it's a few days for others it's a few months you just have to wait
