[Feb 3 2007] Rod and I met at a birthday party when I was an AuPair in Maryland
[Sep 2007] I moved back to Brazil after my AuPair program ended
Skype becomes our best friend
[Dec 2007] Rod visits me in Brazil for New Years, meets my family, stays for 3 weeks
[Jan 2008] I apply for school in Maryland
[May 2008] Rod visits me for 2 weeks for my birthday
[Jul 2008] I move back to Maryland to study Photography, Rod and I live only 20 minutes apart and it's heaven
[Dec 2009] Rod and I travel to Brazil for Christmas with my family
[Apr 2010] Rod and I travel to the Dominican Republic for his sister's wedding
[May 2010] Rod and I travel to Brazil for my best friend's wedding
[Jun 2010] Rod and I make plans to move to Brazil once I finish school
[Aug 2010] My parents and brother visit us in the US, our parents meet in person for the first time
[Dec 2010] I graduate and we move to Brazil, we live together <3
[Jun 2011] Rod needs to go back to the USA for work
Skype is back in our lives
[Aug 2011] I visit Rod in the US for 1 month and he makes plans to move back to Brazil by the end of the year
[Dec 2011] He moves back to Brazil! We live together again! <3
[Feb 2012] Rod and I sign our "Stable Union" papers. We're "sort of" married.
[Apr 2012] We travel to Peru and I meet his extended family. Back in Brazil, Rod acquires his Legal Resident Status and looks for work.
[Jan 2013] Rod and I travel to Panama for his family's vacation reunion. He still doesn't have a job in Brazil. :(
[Mar 2013] Job hunting in Brazil is really not going well for him and his savings are gone.
[Apr 2013] Rod has a job offer in Maryland and moves back to the USA :(.
