  2. Hey Lis&Adrian...

The consulate received my petition on 8-26, an interview was assigned on 8-29, and they sent out packet 4 to my fiance on 9-4...

I called on the 9-5 and they they gave me all of these dates as well as my interview date and time.

I know our cases were pretty close together so I think that you should have gotten an interview date by now..

Have you tried calling the visa specialist in Washington, DC?? They will tell you exactly weather or not you have been scheduled for an interview,,, and if so, when.

    Heyy thank you so much!

Whats your interview date? If you dont mind asking

Whats the number for the specialist in Washington DC? I will love to call

    Thank you so much.

  3. Technology is a beautiful thing. :)

I emailed the consulate this morning at 11:30 to ask if they could email me our packet 4 so we could start making our arrangements instead of waiting for the snail mail in the DR. By 2:30 I had a response with our packet! Counting down the days now until December 5th!!

If you're waiting on your packet 4 email them! So much better than sorting through the appointment list and feeling anxious!

When did the consulate receive your case?

  4. Hey Lis&Adrian ... After I got my NOA2 nothing new has happened! :( From what I have read in other posts, Since we were transferred from VSC to TSC, I believe that we have to wait for our cases to get sent back to VSC (since that is where our cases originated from) to then from there be sent to NVC (Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm only going by what I've read here on VJ). Then from there we should be receiving an update stating that our cases have been sent to the corresponding embassy, which actually means that they will be sent to NVC and then to the US consulate in DR. The worst part of it all is that for those us us who were transferred to TSC it's been taking somewhere between 4-8 weeks for them to be sent out! :(

I hope someone comments on here and tells me otherwise because I was hoping this was going to be the fastest step, but turns out it might be a little longer!!

Now maybe you guys won't have to wait since they do say every case is different, so I suggest you call NVC to see if they've received your case yet!

    Good Luck!! :)

Thanks you :) hopefully it speed up

Good luck to you too!! :)
