My husband and I met in college while he was studying abroad from France. We were engaged five months after we met and filed for the K-1 Fiance Visa in June of 2012. We were (finally) approved and had the visa in hand in June of 2013. He flew home from France to me on June 6th, 2013 and we were married the very next day! The process isn't over, but we are so blessed to have been given the opportunity to be a part of it.
