My aunt (a LPR) applied for her son who was 17 yrs old for immigration back in 2002. His file was recently sent to the NVC. However, they've been holding it for quite some time now saying that a visa number must become available. So my question is under what category will he be processed? Is he being processed as above 21 yr old child or as an under 21 child because the priority dates differ vastly 10/2001 to 10/2003. Also, does anyone know if he was to get married, would he be dropped from consideration all together.
