    Thank you so much for your response. That was my guess as well. We asked a lawyer and they said she would have to go back which I found strange, I think they didn’t take into account that her status is legal currently under the TPS.

    Hello everyone I’m hoping to get the right data. I’m going to petition this week for my adult over 21 years of age unmarried daughter. I’m am a US citizen. She lives in US already and it is under the TPS status. She was brought here when she was 6 months old on a tourist visa and overstayed and then TPS was granted. Any idea if she would have to go back to her country when the i485 adjustments happens ? im confused some people are telling me she will need to go back to wait for the green card once the letter is received from uscis. anyone has gone through this?
