Hi Jared619! I prepared the all the docs for my fiancé's USEM interview. I researched how to best answer those documents (VJ sample forms included) and this is how I answered question 32 in DS-156 : Fiance applicant, will apply for work authorization. As for question 33, it really doesn't matter if you tick no for now and if your fiancee does decide to further her education in the future, the government will not hold it against you guys. And since you were the one who prepared the docs, you have to fill in all the information they asked for in question # 40, and don't forget to sign and date it. The CO found all his documents in order and now we are awaiting our visa. Goodluck guys!

I would highly suggest you get the services of Atty. Gurfinkel. He has a high rate of resolving problematic immigration issues. Your fiancé might have heard of him and I'm sure the USEM-Manila is well acquainted with his work. Wouldn't hurt to look him up.... Goodluck!

Hi TatTot! I would suggest you fill out the forms that Kaiser sent out to you. You will be informed whether or not you are qualified for a financial support but you'll never know until you get those papers sent out to them. You are now a member, they would rather have you than loose you and Kaiser is pretty good at helping out their members in dire straits. Try it first and worry less. You wouldn't want to go back to the hospital, right? Stress wouldn't do you any good. God bless!
