My name is Tara, my husband Zaheer is from Sialkot, Pakistan. We met through a friend online back in 2008, in August I travelled to Pakistan where we had a wedding "Ceremony" and after a finalization of some paperwork in USA, we officialized our Nikah in Jan 2009. I lived in Pakistan with him from Aug 2008 to Dec 2008 and again from Jan 2009 to end of December 2009 when I had to travel, alone and pregnant back to USA before my Domicile would come into question or I would be too pregnant to fly. So, we welcomed our baby girl, Stevie Zainab Ahmed into the world on March 18, 2010 and hubby did Azaan for her over the phone and everyone got to see her via Skype. He joined us in USA on May 5, 2010 and we moved to Greer, SC. Since that day it has been one job after another, one move after the next.. and we have gone from SC to FL, to the other side of FL and back again and the Hudson Valley in NY to NYC (currently). Praying to get back to FL or SC someday soon, In Sha Allah. But til then, we are just along for the ride.....Oct 3, 2013 Zaheer is now a Naturalized Citizen!!
