We met through discussions on an internet based forum for the band UB40. In December 2003 we met when Kim came to the UK. In May, 2004 Stephen came to the U.S and we spent a wonderful week exploring the South and Memphis, Tn. In between we have had wonderful adventures together and helped each other through difficult times. Some ten years on our children now have their independence and the only commitments we have are to ourselves. With a relationship that has endured ten years of being apart, we believe we have a solid foundation on which to spend the rest of our lives together. The moments saying goodbye have got harder, the distance seems further away than ever, and the time between seeing each other feels slower.
