Thanks, Darnell! You're right! Embassy replied case is still under review. And I guess the workers from CEAC never touched our case after interview. It's updated everyday automatically at 8:30. Hope they touched our case ASAP. The waiting is very frustrating although officer approved my visa on the day of my interview.

for Guangzhou IV - within 1 to 2 weeks.

What's going on? The casefile has to be reviewed still then

the casefile is bundled into the visa packet with another check on documents then

it's lobbed over to the mailroom

then it'll get picked up by CITIC Bank Courier for movement into that CITIC bank location.

When that first review is finished it'll flip to 'ISSUED' status and this is absolutely normal for Guangzhou IV.

so - wait a bit.

and note that on CEAC - that last updated date/time is when a GUZ IV human touched the casefile - it'll give 'local times' for China.

It's nothing to worry about. You can email your consulate. I was approved, the next day checked online and it was under AP. I emailed the consulate and asked if everything was okay. I got a response then almost immediately it was changed from AP to issued.

My interview was on 12June2014. And officer approved my visa. Nothing wrong with my case. However, i checked my case status today on CEAC webiste, it's still under AP. How long does it take to change to ISSUED???

How did you find out your case was completed? I've sent all the documents but yet get a response.

Because we received Email from NVC.

quick question, how did you submit the DS261 though? Do you have to get case # first? or you can submit anytime after your I-130 has been approved and they receive your case? Cause I wanna submit the DS261 too.. Thanks for help.

Get case# and invoice ID first, then fill in DS261 and pay $88.

My case no. starts with GZO. I applied for EP program. I received the check list next day. I sent the revision to them yesterday morning. it will takes around 20 days for them to receive our Email. Hope I can get the notice of interview by the end of this month or at the beginning of next month

I received Email from NVC this morning. It said, " A letter was sent to the petitioner or attorney of record indicating the Affidavit of Support requirement for this case is incomplete. Please submit the requested Affidavit of Support form(s) and/or financial evidence, as indicated on the checklist. The requested information must be submitted to the NVC for this file to continue processing."

But my husband didn't receive any Emails or check list from NVC. What's going on? Does anyone have the same problem?

So that was me sending in my AOS documents. IV Fee came about 10 days after the DS-261 was sent in. Then after my payment cleared (about 2 - 3 days) the DS-260 was available. Once you pay your fee you can submit your supporting documents for the DS-260 so get those out. Once the payment clears you can then submit the DS-260 and they are currently saying 20 - 30 business days to review from there. So yes. We are at this stage now. When did your petition get sent to NVC?

Goose - Have you called the NVC? You should call. It's been busy a lot, but I keep calling until I finally get thorugh (Normally 10 - 12 attempt in a row). they have been saying 10 business days and you are past that. I would call.

I submitted my DS261 on 28Feb and paid AOS fee on 3rd March. I still couldn't pay IV fee. It's locked You all are very lucky. Hope i could pay my IV fee asap .

Hi, everyone. I applied for EP two weeks ago, but so far i didn't get any reply from NVC. I sent several Emails to them. Still waiting for their reply. I wanna know how long it will takes to get a new case number after I applied for EP program?

I got my case number last night (CHINA TIME) YAY!!!!! Invoice will come to us soon

They received my case on Jan. 21, and as soon as I hit 20 business days, (I also adjusted for the holidays and snow days.) they told me it would be 10 more business days. But that I should wait to hear from them. Ha. Fat chance. I call every day.

They had my case on 10Jan. They gave me the same answer. I'll call them this week and next week to see if they key in my case into their system. Don't understand why it's so hard for them to assign us a case number!

Thanks for the above replies I think it's better to find a joint sponsor for me. As my husband is still a student and he's just doing his internship in a company, I'm afraid the Visa officer don't think my husband has a stable job although his salary of 2012,2013 meet the poverty guideline , so that's why I asked his father as my joint sponsor.

I have one more question. Do my husband and his father need to write an affidavit of support letter? And should this letter be notarized by notary public in the state where he lives?

make it easy. just because they live together doesn't make them household members, spouses and dependent children on their taxes do

so you and your husband are one household if you don't have dependent children

his dad, mom and you as the beneficiary make another household, if they don't have dependent children, your husband isn't counted

if his mom doesn't have any income there is no income to combine

your husband files the i864 and his dad the i864A

Hi, Aleful, thank you very much for your reply! I just asked an agent. She said, if my husband's address and his Dad's address on the tax return are the same. Household size is counted as 4. And like you said, Dad has to fill in I-864A & my husband has to fill in I-864. Even if his Mom doesn't have income, she also has to fill in I-864A. What she told me is correct??

Did/is husband's income meeting the poverty line for 2012 and 2013?

First of all, let me tell you my situation. My husband has job and his tax return of 2011 didn't meet the requirement of the poverty line. We have to submit the latest three year's tax return(2011,2012,2013) to NVC and embassy, so my husband's Dad will be our joint sponsor. His parents has joint tax return and his Dad has individual income. His Mom is housewife. And my husband lives with his parents.

Should his Dad file a separate I-864 or I-864A???? And i heard his Mom also has to submit I-864A. Is that true?

So far I'm so confused with calculating the household.

Could you please help check if the numbers I put is correct ???

But for my understanding, I put "2" persons for his Dad and Mom.

My case was transferred to TSC on 8NOV too. Still waiting for NOA2.
