we got there late like an hour late because of traffic and rain but we still got in and still interviewing me was really hard on us she acted like she didn't know Spanish and then she wanted him to answer some questions in Spanish and me translate and then after a few minutes she was speaking Spanish to him but there was a lot of time that we spend the nearest like 20 to 40 minutes and guess what we were approved !!!!
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PRAY FOR US!!!!!!!!! Our AOS interview is tomorrow at 8am.
All my best! You two have been through so much! Let us know how it goes.

On the 131, in Part 7, it has a box for "more than one trip". For "intended date of departure", we used dates we thought we'd be going over to see his family in Scotland. They weren't exact dates, just an idea. I wouldn't recommend skipping the 131 in the event of an emergency. It's free, file it. Best of luck!

I am past frustration, anger, and just know that it is coming to an end soon in less than a week.
We are gathering evidence which we have a lot of. The only thing is that I can't add my husband to the deed of the house, however he is on the insurance for the house, the auto insurance, credit card, joint bank account, joint health insurance, life insurance for each other with each other as beneficiary. He is not on any cell phone bill or utility bill either. We have photos from our marriage, prior to marriage trips, and everyday life here.
Will this be enough evidence do you think?
I think you'll be good with what you have. My husband isn't on the mortgage, or any utilities, but is on everything else. It's my understanding that they don't expect you to have as much as you'll need for ROC as of right now. They want commingling finances and so on. I hope it goes well. I know you're ready to have this behind you. All my best.

Green card received today!!!!

Green card delivered today!
-
If it shipped today, you should get it within a week. IO told me they send it through 2-day mail. But if it doesn't come soon, don't worry, you can renew your EAD!
We filed for EAD renewal and they cancelled it after the 485 was approved. Hopefully it'll be in the mail Monday.

Card finally shipped today. When my husband gets home from work he's going to call about the tracking number. That's 4 weeks yesterday he's been waiting. His AP/EAD expires 13th September and if he doesn't get it before the he loses his job. Here's to hoping it gets here soon.

My husband's GC was approved on the 23rd of July and it still hasn't been mailed. So, this Thursday makes a month and still no GC.
-
I got potential interview waiver letter on June 22nd 2015. DO you guys think there's any chance of me getting my GC before Jan 2016.
Are there statistics here on visa journey on the timeline from interview waiver letter to GC approval?
There's a chance. Honestly, it's all over the place. My husband's AOS took 364 days. We got the NPIW letter 5 1/2 months after filing and then a RFE for a new medical 10 months after filing. Some didn't get RFEs for new medicals. Also, it's been 3 weeks and the card hasn't even been shipped.
Good luck!
-
We waited 364 days for approval and today marks 3 weeks since approval. No GC still. Patience is soooooo thin.
-
The card should come soon for you. I'm not sure why they are taking so long to send them out at this moment.
It's because it's us. We cant even pick the right line at the grocery store! Hopefully soon!

Card Was Mailed To Me
On August 11, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXXX, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by September 10, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
The card is on it's way. Filed AOS April 1, 2014. 16 months 10 days.
Wooooo! Congrats!!!! My husband's was approved 3 days after yours. Here's to hoping his gets mailed later this week or early next week. I desperately need good news right now.
-
We're still sitting on "Welcome Notice Mailed". The date the letter says to expect it is in late September, which is after the current EAD/AP expires. It's only been 2 weeks, but I'm curious if anyone has actually waited that long to receive the GC.

Just got a series of texts. Johan's and his son's green cards were just ordered for production! Welcome to London!!! ?
Woooo hoooo! Congrats!!!!!
Just checked our status online and...
Welcome notice was mailed!
On July 27,2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice.
Finally! And only about a week after they received our RFE response.
Feels good, doesn't it? Congrats!
We received Welcome Letter on 07/25/15.
When I mailed our RFE, I sent the sealed envelope, the original RFE form, a copy of I-485 notice, a copy of the completed biometrics notice for the I-485 and a cover letter stating what was enclosed. I don't know if that had anything to do with why are case was approved a little faster than others after sending the RFE or if maybe because our congressman contacted our local office directly on our behalf. I am not sure of any of this. I DO know that filing on April 1st 2014 and not being approved until July 18, 2015 is way too long.
It's about stinkin' time! Woooo!

GREEN!GREEN!GREEN! Finally.Tomorrow marks one year since NOA1.
On July 23, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXX.
-
AAAAAAAAAND here we go!!!
New Card Is Being Produced
On July 18, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
15 1/2 months later!!!
Fantastic news!!!! Still nothing from our camp. It's been a year. The Tampa office has had the RFE for 5 weeks with no movement...
-
Still absolutely nothing to report. I could've walked the new medical to Tampa at this rate...almost a year.
-
That's where we will be sending ours too. Our IO is MK Madore. Do you remember yours?
I want to say is was Blaser or something like that.
-
When did you send your rfe back? Was it a local office?
No, it went to Tampa, FL. They received it 16 June.
-
Still nothing on our end. Zero. Zilch. Nada. The RFE was sent to the attention of the officer processing almost a month ago. We're hoping to hear something soon.
-
Verve just received a new 797C for EAD stating USCIS will use my husband's previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics and anew biometrics appointment is not necessary. It only came for EAD, not AP. I'm curious if they'll require a new biometrics appointment for this since no letter has been received for AP. Anyone experience this?
-
Still nothing for us...renewal of EAD/AP is in the works. The RFE was signed for a couple weeks ago. Congrats to those who've been approved. Hopefully we'll have some good news soon. Coming up on a year in a couple of weeks.

Got the dreaded rfe for medical today
Oh no! My husband mailed his off today. This is such a load of garbage.
Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case [Part III]
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports

We got ours late in the game as well. Beyond frustrating. My husband got a RFE for vaccinations, but we just redid the entire medical to avoid further RFEs. We filed in July 2014 and received the NPIW letter in January. The RFE came in May and he got approved on 23 July. 364 days. Here's to hoping things run smoothly for you.
