  1. Got married at the beach in our town. Just my family and our minister. Following the wedding had a meal at our house for everyone.
  2. Life is good. I'm hanging out here in the Keys having a drink and watching Earth Wind and Fire on PBS. The house is wide open and haven't had to use the ac since we arrived Wednesday. The entire 4 panel sliding door is open out to the porch overlooking the canal. Watching the boats and manatee go by. The new dog really likes this place too. We don't want to go back tomorrow and work this coming week..... Which got us into some serious talk about retirement. Been thinking about and looking forward to this for a long time, and maybe this will be the year. Was hoping I'd have someone to take over the practice and did have one guy that we have known for a long time said he wanted it, but backed out a few months ago. Talking with a few classmates that are also having a hard time finding someone to take over their practice. May just have to close the doors, and if that's the case will probably do it in September. A lot to think about and a lot of details to work out, but I'm ready.
  3. I understood that but your response just didn't seem to make sense based on the post you were replying to..... What ever.
  4. Of course you know I do that just to aggravate you. LOL And it seems to work.
  5. So this is where you learned your parenting skills for Mini-bone.
  6. Congrats and enjoy. It seems that we are finished with new grand kids. My son has 2 girls, 4 and 6, my daughter has 15 month old twins, and my wife's daughter has 2 boys, 5 and 7. Two seems like the magic number for our kids. Lucky for us they are all in FL.
  7. Great Smoky Mountains national park is the busiest park in the US. I think they are taking measures to control and lessen the crowds. Mammoth Cave is great. Went there a couple of times when I lived in Louisville.
  8. Don't forget JoAnne stores are closing. Be sure to get there for the mark downs.
  9. I take my teeth out when I go...
  10. Can't we just get cheap eggs from China like we get everything else? LOL
  11. I could see this being handled much like an expedite request. Generally NO AOS from a tourist visa except for very special cases. "I arrived for a visit and he popped the question and we got married. Now we just can't bare to be apart" just isn't going to cut it.
  12. I love that store. I go at 6am, get everything I need for groceries and other items, and return home right around 7am. No time wasted.
  13. President Donald Trump announced a new visa program for investors coming to the United States on Tuesday that would cost applicants $5 million. Trump, touting the project as a "Gold Card" program mimicking the Green Cards permanent residents get, told reporters in the Oval Office that it would be up and running in two weeks. https://www.newsweek.com/trump-gold-card-visa-announcement-eb5-replacement-2036226
  14. They do have nice bathrooms... and plenty of gas pumps.
  15. Yep. Really getting bored watching Max run away from the field. Most exciting part of the race is usually the first lap. I feel like qualifying mostly determines the outcome. Was going to go to the F1 race in Miami until I saw the CRAZY ticket prices. Decided I'd stay home and for the same money by a huge 85" TV for the same price and watch the race and have something worthwhile after. Where are those teams from? Years ago I watched Aussie Rules football because it was one of the only "interesting" programs on early on a weekend morning. Quit watching because I never figured out the rules. Will say we visited Australia once about 10 years ago to visit a friend of my wife's. Most of our time was spent around Sydney and a day trip to the Blue Mountains. A beautiful place and would love to go back, but the trip there from south Florida is horrible. May be going back next year for a wedding. Brisbane next time.
  16. Finally you ate a decent and healthy meal. Thanks Mama T-B Hi, my name is Georgina and I'm a rubia. I love cats, eating crappy food, and seeking out cheap junk at ES and GS. Want to communicate? LOL
  17. Yep. I think a big old hairy ape would make the perfect mate for TBone.
  18. Sunny and warm here, just to make you feel better. So the pursuit is exhausting. Time to find a new approach. Maybe a different dating site?
  19. An update on the "Cat for the Kids" idea. Had my wife fairly well convinced not to buy an specialty cat for the kids, then she was thinking about a kitten from the shelter. Then the kids came and visited us for several days and with their wild and bad behavior it was easy to point out to my wife they were not ready for an animal. Fast forward about 4 weeks and....now WE have a new addition to our family! The absolutely cutest and sweetest 4 month old Maltese puppy to go along with our 17+ year old (failing) Maltese. We are on our second week with her. Sorry, I know this is a cat thread but had to share.
  20. No, not that bad. She lived in the far west end of Louisville and I lived downtown.
  21. I think you should take the TMJC out for a meal she would enjoy... perhaps Taco Bell. LOL Actually that reminds me of a time long long ago when I was a single guy in dental school. I asked a cute young dental hygiene student out and suggested we go for dinner. I asked her where she might like to go. She said McDonalds. LOL I said I was thinking of somewhere much nicer. She then said, OK, how about Wendy's. I dated her for a short while but she was "geographically undesirable". Safelite repair, Safelite replace. 🎶
  22. Every time I read that you consumed this "Tuna Glop" I want to 🤮 You better check and see if she is also a Tuna Glop eater
  23. Hang in there. At this point there is nothing to lose.
  24. A few lucky guys are chick magnets. You seem to be a scammer magnet. So sorry.
