    I added to my stock portfolio a few weeks ago when the market took the big down turn. Buy low... I've done well over the years with Walmart, McDonalds, Home Depot, Coca Cola, and Costco. I prefer the blue chip stocks. All of these, and more, can be purchased direct without a broker. Check out computershare.com. I try to add a little each month. After several years it's amazing what you will accumulate.
