Had a house full. My daughter and her husband and her 1 year old twins and husband’s sister, my son and his wife and their 4 and 6 year old girls, my wife’s daughter and husband and their 5 and 7 year old boys AND a friend of theirs and his 7 year old son (just found out about them a week ago). My 91 year old mother refused to come saying she couldn’t handle all those kids. My wife had also invited my ex-wife but she said she already had “another obligation”. LOL Started drinking early and often, but had to keep it a little under control being the host and chief cook. I’ll have to say the pizza was excellent….just kidding, but the turkeys were truly excellent. We ate outside by the pool. The pool was a little chilly for my liking, just 83. The limitations of solar pool heating but the kids were happy. My step daughter took a group table side photo and when she sends it to me I will post it. Guess I’m getting to be a grumpy old man as I can’t wait for the step daughter and her family and friends leave. They said they are going back tomorrow. Fortunately my daughter lives 15 minutes away and my son and his family are staying with her.
