  1. It has been one month since my AoS fee was Paid and approved and about as long since the DS-261 was approved. Still no option to pay for IV. Is it about time to call?

I am so tired of this process, 15 months so far. I feel like I've fallen off a tree and hit every branch on the way down.

And just because I need to vent, why the hell has my wife's IV package gotten stuck in customs for a month?

  2. Tier one told me the exact same thing, but I insisted on speaking to tier 2. They were able to change my mailing address to a USA address. This may not work out in your case, but worth a shot.

As for not hearing anything since April 30, that is very normal. April files are just starting to be moved for processing. Your transfer is probably coming up in a week or two, followed by 1-2 month long wait for NOA2.

Alright thanks for the tip, we will give the tier 2 option a go. I hope it doesn't make a huge difference that it's an overseas. It'd just be a pain to wait this long and get all our information sent to the wrong address.

  3. Hello VJ community!

My wife (an Australia citizen) and myself (US Citizen) are 7 months wait into our I-130.

We both live in Australia and recently moved to a new home here. I wanted to change our address but there is no option for changing an overseas address on the USCIS website. We spoke to the USCIS and they told us they were unable to change the address associated with our pending application and that we needed to contact the Sydney Consulate. There is no contact number for the consulate so we had to send them an email.

The consulate just responded via text that they are not able to change the address associated with our application and to contact the USCIS.

What the hell is wrong with these people?

Any guidance on who we should speak to would be much appreciated.
