We initially got acquainted and met online on July 13, 2012 through the free social networking site, www.tagged.com. We began messaging almost on a daily basis and on
July 31 we exchanged webcams and talked over the phone for the very first time. We instantly liked each other and continued communicating without interruptions. We kept chatting, web conferencing, texting, messaging, and calling each other until I finally flew to Medellin to meet her in person on December 21, 2012 when we hugged and kissed each other for the very first time.
We got engaged on December 22, 2012 at a little party held at her house in front of her two daughters, her mother, brothers, sisters, and other closed relatives. All gave us their blessing to get married and for her to live with me in America with her two daughters and my two minor sons. On January 07, 2013 I returned home. Thereafter, we continued communicating nonstop until I had, again, the opportunity to fly back to Medellin to be together again for the second time to strengthen up our relationship. April 26 to May 06, 2003 was a joyful time for us.
The saga continues and I’ll be returning to Medellin on July 26. Meanwhile our K-1 application is over four months since it was acknowledged by the USCIS (March 04, 2013). I’m confident it’ll be approved; therefore, we are preparing and putting together in advanced all pertinent documents for the consulate interview at Bogota.

Nosotros nos contactamos y nos conocimos en línea el 13 de Julio del 2012 a través de la red social www.tagged.com. Desde ese momento comenzamos a enviarnos mensajes casi a diario hasta que el 31 de Julio intercambiamos cámaras y hablamos por teléfono por primera vez. Al instante nos gustamos y de ahí para adelante continuamos comunicando sin interrupciones. Nos mantuvimos chateando, mirándonos por cámara por internet, enviándonos mensajes de texto, mensajes instantáneos, y llamándonos el uno al otro hasta que finalmente yo pude volar a Medellín para mirarla en persona el 21 de diciembre del 2012, momento en el cual nos abrazamos y besamos por primera vez.
Nos comprometimos el 22 de diciembre del 2012 en una pequeña fiesta que tuvo lugar en su casa y en frente de sus hijas, madre, hermanos, hermanas, y otros parientes cercanos. Todos nos dieron sus bendiciones para que nos casáramos y para que ella viviera conmigo aquí en Estados Unidos con sus dos hijas y mis dos nenes pequeños. El 7 de enero regrese a mi casa para continuar comunicando sin parar hasta que tuve la oportunidad de regresar de nuevo a Medellín para estar juntos por segunda vez y fortalecer nuestra relación. Pasamos muy buen tiempo entre el 26 de Abril y el 6 de mayo.
Nuestra historia continúa y estaré regresando a Medellín el 13 de Julio que viene. Mientras tanto nuestra solicitud de visa K-1 tiene ya más de cuatro meses desde que el USCIS la recibió (4 marzo del 2013). Confío en que será aprobada y por lo tanto estamos preparando y juntando por adelantado todos los documentos pertinentes para la entrevista consular en Bogotá.
