    We met online in April 2005 and spend the first few months getting to know each other. We talked daily for 2 plus hours (thanks to my VOIP). We met in person in Moscow in August 2005. After returning we decided to begin the "process" as we now call it :)

    My advice to you is that the process is NOT flexible so FOLLOW the directions from USCIS and if all is good and you are not doing anything sneaky and you meet the minimum criteria you should have NO problem. Take time, re-read your documents make sure everything is correct. Remeber USCIS is NOT FLEXIBLE for good reasons but they are FAIR.

    September 14, 2005 - NOA1
    Oct 5, 2005 - NOA2 - Petition Approval
    Oct 7, 2005 - NVC Confirms Receipt
    Oct 18, 2005 - NVC sends to Moscow
    Oct 21, 2005 - US Embassy in Moscow receives documents
    Nov 06, 2005 - Packet 3/4 received by beneficiary (this contains details of vaccination requirements, test that needed to be taken - where to take them and the interview date. You need to bring all including the sealed test results to embassy)
    Jan 23, 2006 - Interview Date (Visa Approved)
    Jan 27, 2006 - Passport/Visa received via prepaid courier
    Feb 04, 2006 - Flight to US
    Apr 05, 2006 - Wedding
