i am pretty much in the same situation and questioning as u!!! my fiancees interview is friday and he leaves to go there on thursday so tomorrow is the day we need EVERYTHING done and right. as far as the original documents, i scanned everything and emailed to him. so im hoping all the documents can be copied like that. we are hoping we have it all. good luck on ur journey!!!!!!!

EEEEKKKK my fiance has his interview next friday!!!!! one week today and we are praying Friday the 13th will work in our favor........any last minute preparations we should be aware about or help from anyone???!! hi there, my fiance applied for the B2 so he could visit me longer than the 3 months and he was denied due to "not havng enough ties to the UK" so we went ahead and applied for the K1. I'm not sure if his B2 is totally cancelled out but u should be able to just start applying for the K1. it is a long process so get on it asap. the sooner the better. My fiance has his interview date dec 13th and we first sent our packet in the end of march. everyones visa takes a different amount of time. but I would just start the K1. and maybe have him re apply for his esta so he can visit in the mean time. hope this helps. Visa Journey has helped us thru this process or we woulda been completely lost since the embassy doesnt really help u lol goodluck!!

yaaaaa my fiancee saw that and I kept telling him no just do what the instructions say. and he was reading it as if u havent sent the packet3 (after sept1) then u need to do the 260 instead of the 230 but nooooo he cant read right lol its if u receive it on of after sept 1st. so we are good and dont have to do that one. its all so confusing tho. like why change one paper?? whatevs. he is sending packet 3 out tomorrow and hopefully getting his medical done next week

is DS 2001 and the cover letter (updated intent to marry) included in this "packet 3" that we are to send????

im with the same problems right now.....we have called and called and no one can give an exact response on what forms need to be filled out. why dont they just send us what they need to fill out and then we send back????!!! would be so much easier............

congrats on gettin approved!!! im kinda in the same boat as well now too......its been 2 months since we received our NOA2, and we havent sent in the next set of paperwork yet cuz we arent really sure how it all works.....im guessing the packet 3 gets sent and then do they make the medical appointment for my fiance or does he have to do it on his own?? and then once they receive that is that when they schedule the interview?? we have 2 more months till it says our NOA2 expires.... eeek!! HELP!!???

Pretty sure you got the system down without having to ask others for help and I'm thankful to have found this site and people helping me thru this process! we have been approved and i am leaving for scotland to go see my fiance tomorrow!!!! the next step is the I-134 papers that I'm kinda worried about and need help filling out.......I still live at home and make money with side gigs, such as dancing, shows, and catering. pretty much all cash in hand stuff.........ive seen posts where the petitioners parents have signed off for being the support. we have money saved and in savings but I'm pretty sure I dont have any way of showing I can be the main support without the help of my parents letting us stay here with them until we get our own place....help on filling this out plz!!!

got our NOA2 2 weeks ago and still waiting to hear from the NVC as well......I see some peoples time line that they receive it like 4-5 days after they got approved so idk how the whole waiting times go. should I call them and ask for the case number or just keep waiting to get somethin??? and if so what is the number? thanksss and happy waiting games

I am having the same confusion only as I am still living at home with parents and work cash on hand jobs mostly and we have over 10,000 dollars saved for when my fiancee moves here and we can actually start a real life together and move out so I know I am going to have troubles filling the papers in to show I can support him. do you know how I should go about this??? and as far as the IRA stuff.....I feel like with that money coming in on top of her job income you should be okay but just show you combined them. pay stubs and tax return forms are what they ask for too... GOOD LUCK W UR INTERVIEW IN A COUPLE WEEKS!

CONGRATS! we recently received our NOA2 saying approved so guess we wait for whats next while prepping for the support papers I need to do. whats the NVC u received??? OHHHH and to the person asking about good flights.....I just booked mine to go see my fiancee on monday from www.skyscanner.com they have all the flights from all those websites in one! and pretty cheap compared to buying off the actual airlines webpages
