  1. Hello, I'm trying to start a new N400 form - on the USCIS website, when I click on start form, it goes to a page without anything on it. Has anyone else had this issue? Thank you.
  2. Ah I understand, therefore easier to apply as an individual. Thanks.
  3. Do you mean there is less paperwork if you are already married? The marriage has been over 30 years so it's not a new thing. Therefore you think it's easier to apply as a spouse?
  4. Hello, Is it better to apply for citizenship as an individual, or as a spouse of an existing US Citizen (who was British but has had US citizenship for 5 years). Wasn't sure whether you can be penalized if you apply as an individual and they find out you are married, or whether it's faster to obtain citizenship if you apply as a spouse. Many thanks.
  5. Hello, I gained my US Citizenship in May 2023 and may have the opportunity to move back to the UK. Is there any restriction on how long you have to have been a US Citizen before moving back to the UK? I wouldn't want to lose my US Citizenship or pay any penalty for moving back. Second question - how does it work with paying taxes to the USA if working in the UK? Is there a threshold? If anyone has any information or links they could share, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
  6. Good afternoon, I recently became a citizen and am traveling to the UK this week. I wasn't sure which passport I should use to leave the USA - my US or British passport? Entering the UK I was planning to use my UK passport. On returning to the USA, I normally use Global Entry - currently though I can't update my passport online - will that cause a problem when I come back? Thank you.
  7. An update - I told them about the traffic citation and she just updated my n400. No issues at all. Was approved yesterday and had my naturalization ceremony today!
  8. I’ve read lots of conflicting things about whether to include traffic violations on the n400. The official USCIS guidelines say you don’t have to submit any documents for anything under $500. I noticed that if you do answer yes to the citation question it asks for evidence - so I answered no as I followed the guidelines. At my interview should I explain that I had a traffic citation?
  9. Thank you - I just realized there were actually 2 trips I forgot about - it's hard to remember back 5 years! I've found the dates and I'll bring to the interview with me. Hopefully everything will be good!
  10. I have my Citizenship interview on Friday and I just realized I forgot a trip outside the USA that I took within the last 5 years. Will that go against me at the interview, or if I just explain it was my error will that be ok?
  11. Hello all, I have been called to an appointment for my Biometrics (code 5) for tomorrow at 2pm in Tampa. Could people share how long they spent waiting when they got to the facility? I have to get back to work by 6pm and wondered if it would take that long. I've read the actual biometrics take about 20 minutes. Thank you.
