I met my husband, Nathan in person in Dec. of 2005 after two months of long distance relationship. He came to visit me and my family and spent the Holidays with us for fifteen days. He then asked my parents for my hand in marriage during his visit and won my family's hearts the very first time. They welcomed him as their son in law, but my dad said there were lots of things to consider and ponder about coz Im Asian and he s American; number one would be, the different cultures and maybe language barrier, and the thought of, wot if we get married and I wont get to adjust to the life of being away from home (Pinas) and especially on how to deal with homesickness, since I havent been abroad my entire life. So, we all came up to a conclusion to have me come over to the United States on a Tourist Visa. I then came to America two years after to visit Nathan and his family. They welcomed me with open arms, which is a blessing, and within a year of getting to know each other as a couple we then got married. And now, when I look back, the good memories will always put a smile on my face and with a thankful heart. I give back all to God all the glory and praises coz He bless me with such a righteous, responsible and diligent man. and funny too! And to sum it all up, Im married to my partner and best friend. Now we help each other building our future together with our puppy Eli.
