Not to burst your bubble. My husband applied back in October 2010 for B2 Visa and I am USC. He got denied and the CO told him "Just wait for your petition." We just then applied for Spousal Visa in 2012 which he was approved and now he is USC. But like what the others said, if you really want to pursue it, make sure you have strong ties back home.
