  1. Ok I have been waiting in the wings for the past 7+ months but after a particularly arduous phone call with a Tier 2 representative yesterday, I am finally frustrated enough to join the conversation.

I am an April 24 filer who has received no communication from NBC since our initial NOA1 receipt. On our latest call we were told there was no updates on our file, no one had touched it, it wasn't in the process of being transferred - nothing.

We are both living in Canada and originally planned to complete the consulate process here, but because of the crazy delays my work permit has expired before the petition has even been approved. I am now on a visitor visa which I presume makes me ineligible to apply within Canada, even though my husband is a joint US-Canadian citizen.

It looks like we will have to transfer our file to the New Zealand consulate once it reaches NVC and uproot to New Zealand just for the interview.

Sorry to unload, with everyone getting transferred it's rough to still be flying blind with absolutely no info!

    It's good to unload.

  2. On December 3, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I checked the USCIS site today and this was on there!! I am an April 9 PD. Transferred to CSC on 19 Nov. Things are starting to happen people. Good luck to all :))

  3. I am an April 9 2013 priority. I have it on good authority that within the next 30 days my package is going to be transferred to the Raleigh NC office.I have two questions: 1. Any news on the the processing times from the Raleigh office (IE..is the Raleigh office considered a good deal?), and 2. I believe being transferred is a good deal overall, any ideas on a possible timeline after files have been transferred?

Thanks for the help, and good luck everybody!
