We met online through Black Planet, I was looking to meet a U.S. based African after a failed marriage to a African which lasted 5 years. He messaged me and I told him I was only interested in being friends, having been through the visa process previously. We started out as friends and nearly 2 years later (October 2014) I went to Accra to meet him and it was the best decision of my life! We don't get along perfectly but we fit together and are really in sync with each other. Most of all we like each other as well as feel love...that's the cement that will hold our relationship together through tough times :)
