  1. Sorry, I meant daughter has a son to come over with.
  2. Thanks everyone for valuable info. Indeed I was by accident looking at the April 2024 VB. She does have a 14 YO son who we want to come with her. I am curious if I am reading this correctly - FA2A Spouses and Children of Permanent Residents are 6 years ahead of (F1) Unmarried Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens ? Am I not reading this correctly, how could non-citizen sponsor cases be 6 years ahead of USC sponsors?
  3. Hello VJ, My wife (naturalized USC) petitioned on an I-130 to bring her 30 year old (now) daughter to the U.S. from Thailand. Receipt date is 12/26/2020. I think that puts her in the: FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCES First: (F1) Unmarried Sons and Daughters of U.S. Citizens: 23,400 plus any numbers not required for fourth preference. category ? If this is true, according to the April Bulletin, they are on 2/08/2015 (Feb 8 2015) applications. If so, does that mean they at least as of right now, she can expect at least 6 more years of wait for any movement ? I have asked about this before but I still don't exactly get it. I am not sure if I understand the categories and the Visa Bulletin correctly. Thanks in Advance - Tango
