Below are the details for the I-130 petition Notice Type: Approval Notice Section: Parent of U.S Citizen, 201(b) INA Received Date 10/03/2023 Priority Date 10/03/2023 Approval Notice Date 12/20/2024 We are very excited... and all the best to those of you still waiting on your petitions.

  3. I recall my first experience with the varying times on USCIS website. My initial reaction was exactly what you are feeling, but after a while and reading what others have posted gave me some reassurances.
  4. I don't think there's going to be a delay. She is duly admitted into United States of America.
  5. It will be wise to talk to an attorney. but in my opinion, amend to make the needed corrections.

Guys, this morning we received a status update email from USCIS stating " We have taken an action on your case Sign in to your account to view your case status But I am not seeing any updates on their website. I know some of you have experienced similar thing in the past. Question is, how long did it take for you to receive an actual update on their website? Yes, I am an October 2023 filer for I-130 for parents of a USCIS.(It's the same thing as the spouse since they are all considered immediate family.)

  9. You might want to change the title to something like "October 2024 Filers i-130 For Parents of US Citizen". This way it will be in line with the previous months titles. imo

  12. Thanks for the update. I ask folks to check the documents' tab always. In regards to the timeline on their website, pay no attention to that as it is woefully inaccurate

  15. The fee schedule applies to all cases filed! It does not matter if you file in the States vs the rest of the world.
  16. Not to dampen your spirit or anything but the average processing time depends on the local center but overall it is averaging 12-18 Months to complete processing by USCIS.
  17. It's taking an average of 15.5 Months for USCIS to approve I-130s. With this timeline in mind, you are looking like February approval window. I hope this helps
  18. So far, we have not seen any updates from this thread. It is taking as much as 14-15months for approval to come in... So we have some days ahead of us.
  19. They are currently processing July 2023 filers. Per the updates we are getting from that month's filers. I hope this gives you perspective on the timeline.

  24. Nothing happens... You will continue to be a US Citizen and you are expected to pay/file taxes at the every year as though you are living in the United States. if you choose to renounce your citizenship, then you are required to file a form with the US Embassy closest to you. I hope this helps
