  1. Hello again,

I am currently filing for AOS and me and my husband are working on Form I-864 Affidative of Support. I would like to include my income on this form. The place to do that would be in Part 6, point 6 (Income you are using from any other person who was counted in your household size, including, in certain conditions, the intending immigrant) or rather in Part 7 (Use of Assets to Supplement Income) point 5 ? Also, would I be required to attach my recent tax returns and a proof that my current employment will continue from the same source after obtaining lawful permanent resident status (found that in the instructions)?

    Any ideas?

  2. You are not really violating any laws. The company is Polish based and you are not required to have US Work Permit to work for them. The only thing as a tax professional I can see happening. You will need to file you US Tax Returns and declare your foreign income. Since you will be paying polish taxes you should have no problems, but make sure to keep a correct documentation so you will not be double taxed. There is a threshold for foreign income, but don't remember it from top of my head. Other than that you are fine.

Thank you very much for helpful informations! I wanted to make sure I won't be violating any laws. I will defenietly declare my foreign income as you suggest.

  3. Hello,

I have recently received my K1 visa and I will be moving to US soon. I am currently working for a company in Poland which has offered me to keep working for them, even thought I will be physically living in US. Bascially, it would be teleworking using cloud technology - I would be working from home. I would get my salary from them on my polish bank account in PLN and of course I will be still paying my taxes in Poland.

Does somebody know if there are some laws or regulations that do not allow me to work like this?
