David and I met online on a website called Dating DNA we started talking sept.22nd,2011 and it was an instant connection we had EVERYTHING in common <3 We started dating Sept.28th,2011 the first six months of our relationship was full of skype,facebook,email and the occasional phone call (he was halfway through a yearlong deployment in africa). March 5th,2012 we met for the first time in person at the airport in London,ON Canada (where i lived) I cant even describe the feeling, it was amazing! He stayed for a month and at the end of March i decided i would move back to Kansas with him for 6 months (canadians can be in the US for 6 months without a visa). He surprised me in april with a cruise to the Bahamas :) and on the first night of the cruise (april 22nd) we were sitting on the balcony starring at the stars and the pristine waters and he proposed!!! :) It was breathtaking and made me cry, of course i said YESS!!! :D from there weve taken trips to flordia,texas and a few other states. Weve also been back a coupke times to visit my family in Canada. Sept.28th,2012 was the 6th month mark on my stay in the states so i had to fly back home to Canada and await my interview at the US Consulate in Montreal on Dec.20th. I cant wait for it all to be over. To be approved for our k-1 visa right before Christmas would be the most amazing present EVER!!!
Our Plan is to get married in Oahu, Hawaii on March.5th,2013 :) I cant wait to be married to my soul mate! It is a long, exhausting journey but nearing the end i can say . . . . it's totally worth it :)
