This is the same information that I said I obtained in the link I posted. Why does this not match what the Brunei Embassy in Philippines wants? Maybe it is not up to date. How do I get request from US emabassy in the list of requirements the embassy in the Philippines gave us?

I know this is an old post, but my fiancee went to the Brunei embassy in Calgary today and they said it would be $40. and a 3 to 4 month wait! I really hope what they told her is wrong, and the http://travel.state.gov info of 2 weeks is right!

Ugh.. fiancee checked with Brunei embassy in Calgary. They charged her $40. and told her it would be 3-4 months to get a copy of police certificate
Yes she did work over 12 months in each country. Thank you very much for your help! God bless.

She's worked in those countries for over 12 months?
http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3195.html scroll down to the bottom to the table the explains when it will be needed.
Some countries will not be available unless you're there. Use this to check: http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_3272.html
Taiwan: http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_5455.html?cid=9776#docs
Brunei: http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_5455.html?cid=9007#docs
Kuwait: Not available unless she's there so you don't need to get it
Jordan: Not available unless she's there so you don't need to get it
She will of course also need one for Canada (most like) and Philippines too if she's lived there enough.
incorrect. it's 12 months. Please see my link above.

Wow, I didn't realize how strict & demanding this whole US Fiancee visa is. They are asking for records of the police clearances from every country she worked in since age 16
She is 42 Filipino, working/living in Canada. And has worked in Taiwan, Brunei, Kuwait and Jordan. The visa assistance company I used directed me to http://travel.state.gov/visa, but I do not understand how to request certified copies from each of these countries. Can someone please tell me the steps to obtain these?
Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone. This is a great forum!
I am a US citizen and am traveling to Canada to visit my Filipino fiancee.. she is there with a working visa.
I have read some through out this forum on procedures, forms, ect. But my reading comprehension is not what it used to be. Can anyone suggest a lawyer or even a person that could help me online or on the phone to correctly follow the procedures?
Thanks in advance,
Scott

I want to thank all who kind replies to my message. I have found my Pinay bride Daisy, working in Ottawa Canada.. only a 4 hour flight.
Thanks again and God bless,

Hello, I am a divorced, disable US gentleman. I'm curious what the odds are of applying for a wavier to the K1 two year meeting requirement. I would like to marry a Filipino woman.. but the 22-26 hour flight would cause pain and distress.
I imagine if it's possible to get a waiver an attorney would be needed?
Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated.
