you mind disclosing what the RFE was for?

my son and i will be applying for the K3/K4 visa

The RFE was for parents names on the birth certificate (I have to go to the registars office on Tuesday)

This is to confirm that I am the birth mother of my daughter, on the birth certificate that I have for Alarna there are no parents mentioned which is the norm for England because I was never married to her father. I am also going to the Doctors office and asking them about it too.

Dan found a strand of my hair on his sweater after his 13 hours of flight back to the U.S, it was still attached. We thought it was weird. Days after that, I found a strand of Dan's hair on his red shirt that was left for me. Also it was still attached. If it's a coincidence, it 's a very weird one. What's the chance of finding a strand of hair that is still attached after a while.

You should not be too concerned yet, you sent it to the Texas service centre, your application will get transferred to the California service centre. Once it is there the Cheque that you sent will be cashed, look on the back of it if you can and you will see a set of numbers starting with WAC 0705200000000 if not then wait for the NOA1 which will give you your number.

Once you have this go to the USCIS web site and register. You will then hopefully get updates via e-mail or what we on VJ call Touches (these you may get without any e-mail.)

The letter is in front of me and it says National Identification Service in white all over the letter...at the Top and Bottom it has two blue lines with National Identifiction Service Authentic Document written on both blue lines, the address on the Left hand side says ......National Identification Sevice

If this is like the letter you have, then it is the correct one if not you will have to wait a few more weeks, mine took nearly 60 days to arrive so be patient.

Why has this thread been moved out of 'Bringing family members to America by US citizens' or whatever that forum is called?? Seems to me this forum is clearly intended for posts about bringing spouses.

To the OP, I have just had a RFE for my daughter, I was hoping that she would be approved the same time as me but that is not going to happen, will be sorting that out this week.
