Why would you be worried about it being cancelled? Once a date has been given by London they are pretty good at keeping these dates, me thinks you are worring over nothing, try to stay sane (I know hard to do at this stage ) been there done that, I wish you every success with your interview, when it is all over you will be so happy

Tom I am also unsure as to what to do, ring the IRS and ask them, http://www.irs.gov/ this site will answer most of your questions and also has a contact number.

Depends what you want in life...... some brits go for Spain, some Greece, I have heard that some of the Baltic states are quite nice, but me personally well I plan on spending retirement with my Husband no matter where we are.

Hmmm tricky situation, first of all find a web site (suggest google) and find out all you can on Hondorus, what the requirements are etc, when you do get married take plenty of pictures for future reference, then for the Visa process im afraid its going to be expensive from start to finish the doctor part will not be necessary until the interview process starts.
Good luck

was tempted to comment...'is that all I get for £160?, I should have gone to Kings Cross...
LMAO I would of found it very hard to bite my tongue
Getting back to subject, when I had my exam for K1 in November 2005 I had to spread my legs and he looked, I did not worry about it all because they are all doctors, and after 3 kids you do not worry anymore.

I think the answer here is no you probably can not file, he still has to go to court and if he gets found guilty then you will have trouble at the interview stage. Which country is he in? Has he got a Lawyer? You need to find out a little more. Good luck .

If the child was 17 when you got married then you are ok. My daughter was also 17 when my husband and I got married although she is 18 now, as long as the child was not 18 before you married you are ok. You fill in an I-130 for both the spouse and the child but you only fill in a G-325A for yourself and your spouse. I hope I have explained this ok for you, Good Luck.

Hi All
Jon and I would like to file as soon as possible for our CR1, we have all the paperwork completed, the only thing that is stopping us is my daughter. Alarna has been asked to do a degree, it is at college and it has to do with her child care course, they told her she is good at this and I would really like her to finish what she is doing as she would make a great nanny. My question is can we get an extension for her at the Embassy when we have our interview, she needs to stay at college until May 2008. Hopefully we will not have an interview until December 2007 so it would not be an issue as I know we have 6 months to use the visa but if it is before this date then what is the procedure???
Thanks
Janice
