Hi all

Mine and Alarna's police certificates came today, I was getting a wee bit worried because as most know I sent all the information and a Cheque on the 5th March 2007, so it was more then 40 days for the certificates to come back.

Both are clear, Alarna and I have never been in trouble with the law so I knew nothing should of been out of the ordinary, so I would suggest that if you have not got one to apply for one now, they are valid for one year.

Yes it is my understanding that PR's must wait longer than USC's.

I sent away for mine and Alarna's on the 6th of March and I still have not got the police cert, I will wait till the end of the week and if I have not got it by then I will give them a quick call.

I-130 for CSC is October 2006 I think you must of read the wrong one.

Yes Jon and I plan to retire at the same sort of time as our birthdays are only 24 days apart

Jon and I both have white gold wedding bands and I also have a white gold with emerald and diamonds for an engagement ring.

In Washington State you can use a foreign license for up to a year then you have to have a state license, I took the written test a couple of times but passed the driving test first time, in fact when the instructor told me to drive around the bollards he said that was the best he had seen in a long time which made me very happy. I have a Washington State license valid for 5 years.

If you can get a relative to receive your mail then you can apply from the USA, please read the guides they are helpful and you will learn something

Oh yes mistakes happen especially at CSC, they are rude incompetent people who should not be working for the Government full stop. I do not know where they pick these people up from, your guess is as good as mine.

Obviously if it is old stuff then it is nothing to declare, when I first came over that is what I put, not because it was worth nothing but because nothing was new if you get what I mean? You are allowed money wise $9,999 nothing over that otherwise you will have to declare it. (me thinks you will be fine on that too). POE is nothing to worry about he will be in and out in no time.
