  1. Moved from Process & Procedures to Progress Reports.

We haven't had the IV bill invoiced yet. If we did, that would actually mean the DS-3032 was accepted, because the IV bill does not get invoiced unless the DS-3032 WAS, in fact, accepted.

Could you please tell me, when you received the bill on the 20th, was the payment portal giving you an error message at any point? Or did you just receive the bill and did not check the portal before? I am starting to get really worried about the DS-3032.

  2. I sent our DS 3032 2 days after you, so I'm right there behind you:)

I wouldn't worry about IV bill. As soon as they review your DS3032 e-mail and accept it - they will invoice the bill (might take 1-2 days or something like that). I heard they get to these e-mails as they come so there may be a line of some sort. If you sent the e-mail after you had received the case# and all that jazz, you should be good. If your e-mail gets rejected, more knowledgeable members advise to resend it right away. It takes over a week or so for it to be reviewed.

And send the AOS packet overnight, I believe it is around $18. I sent mine yesterday at 3 pm, and the packet was at NVC today before noon.

Plus, I'm hoping for my husband to get a November interview. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a November date for yo as well! :)

Thank you so much. It really helps to read about cases that with similar timelines. I sent the DS-3230 email as soon as I had the case number. I did not wait for the AOS bill and the DS-3230 Email from NVC as people on the forum said that wasn't necessary. I really hope it doesn't get rejected.

  3. I did send them on 20. on last thrusday i called NVC and they said the same thing that they did not get it yet but at the next day i recieve an e-mail IV fee bill so i guss we need to call them a lot to rush the case.

I really hope that means I get mine on Monday then, 2 working days behind you. After more than 5 months to NOA2 I am about ready to get this over with.

What about the others on here?

  4. You need to call NVC asap ask them for When you can pay IV fee and dont forget to tell them that you have sent DS-3032 via e-mail Look at my timelines  GOOD LUCK

I called them yesterday. They said they hadn't received it yet and told me to wait. Looks like you sent yours 2 days before me and just got the IV bill yesterday. So hopefully I will get mine Monday.

  5. I'm sorry; I have no idea why it has been like that. Maybe someone mentioned it already but what about switching browsers? If one doesn't work, try another. I couldn't log in on FireFox but it worked great on Opera.

    Good luck!

I tried both IE and Firefox. I guess I can try downloading a third browser, but that shouldn't be the problem, because even when I hit the "Email cover sheet" button. the document they email me looks like the entire right side is cut off. I am really desperate as we cannot continue the process if no solution to this is found. Does anyone else have any suggestions? How did other people finally get their sheet?

  6. Hi BPham

I too am having this same problem. I've tried to also send the document to my e-mail and it still prints without barcode and right side cut off. I tried copying and pasting the contents in the pdf to a word document and I manage to get all of the wording in without being cut off however I still am unable to get the barcode. I won't try sending my AOS documents until I get a proper cover page. As a test I tried to also send my cover sheet for the DS-230 and it also comes in with a missing right side and no barcode. However I printed out my DS-230 cover sheet a month ago and it came out perfect with barcode and everything. This must be a recent development and error with the .gov

Hopefully it gets fixed soon, I really wanted to send out all my paperwork tomorrow :-(.

Keep me posted if you find any fixes to the issue.

I am also experiencing this problem. Has anyone found a fix or talked to the NVC about it? I would really like to send the AOS documents today.

  7. Dont worry, you wont get rejected. If you have any doubts then follow the instructions on the DS-3032 and email it in with the signature. Then give them about a week and call them again

Thanks! I was just trying to be ahead of the game and sent the email before receiving the AOS bill, as many people on here suggest. I am hoping that wasn't a mistake. If I have to send it again and wait an additional week that would really ruin my chances for getting scheduled for an interview during the October round.

  8. The cover sheet im talking about is the same one you recieved when you received your AOS bill. Just use that anytime you send an email to NVC. Did you get the AOS bill yet? You wont get the offical DS-3230 until you pay the AOS bill. So you can wait on that or you can send the template with the cover sheet you got with your AOS bill. I hope that makes sense. If not, i'll explain more tonight when i get off work

I know the cover sheet you mean, but lots of people on here sent their DS-3230 following a template on here before they ever received their AOS bill. So did I. I received the AOS bill and the DS-3230 yesterday, but I had already emailed it last week, following James' shortcuts and the respective template. Could someone let me know what to do now? I am worried that it will get rejected or I won't get any reply at all. I just want to be with my husbands as soon as possible.

  9. I used this template http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form found here on this site and it worked

Be sure to also send the cover sheet. The cover sheet has the barcode they have to scan. If after 10 days they dont get back to you i would send again from the original email or call them again

Thank you for your reply, but now I am even more confused. I thought the email template was exactly meant so I wouldn't need the cover sheet, as everyone seems to be sending the ds-3230 email long before the official ds-3230 sheet is even generated.

  10. I just called the NVC to ask whether they had received the DS-3230. They have not as of yet which is okay since I only emailed it 5 days ago. But what really worries me is that this was the second person at the NVC who told me that you CANNOT just send an email for the choice of agent form. They said, if anything, I have to scan and email the physical DS-3230 form with the bar code. She said I should go ahead and send that. It wouldn't matter that I already emailed them something before. Now I am really confused. I am not sure whether I should just wait since everyone here says that the email works or whether I need to send the scanned form. The worst thing for me would be to slow things down.

  11. After receiving the case number I emailed the DS-3230 in line with the template somewhere on this website. I only realized later that I did so from a different email than the one I gave to the officer on the phone. I emailed the DS-3230 about 4 days ago and have not heard back. Does it matter that I used a different email address? All the information (case number etc.) in the email is correct. I am really worried that this will end up slowing things down.
