One day she was skyping her boyfriend in US and Matt lived with him and came on Skype to say hello as did I - it turned into an international drinking party via skype that night.
We kept in touch online just as friends, crazy to think anymore. Then I went over for the friends wedding and met him in person over a year later.
Add another year after that of just keeping in touch as friends (nothing ever happened at the wedding), then we decided we had to give it a go and have been visiting each other ever since every few months.
