  1. I was hoping somebody would know the answer to this question,.. I have my stepsons here in Caifornia and they are born in Canada, my 14 year old has a american father and the other one does not. I was hoping that I could just file for their visa while staying in the US instead of going back to Canada to do the interviews. Does naybody know if that can be done????

    Save a trip to Canada!!!!!

  2. I finally got my interview date in Vancouver for March 2/2007.....I am so happy!!!!!!!

    Were you given a choice of interview dates? Was that the earliest one available?

    I requested Feb 27 or 28 and they gave me March 2...So I think that may have been the earliest....

    Congrats! I'm about a week behind you for packet 3 I think.

  3. hey there..just want you all to know that we were so happy to receive a letter from the NVC stating that our petition was sent to the VANCOUVER CONSULATE!!! what a relief...

  4. I just called to change my address at NVC and they told me that it has already been sent to Vancouver Dec.28... Wow that was fast, I guess I have to change my address with the consalate in Vancouver now, does anybody tried to change their addy there before, if so how do you do that...? Any applies would be helpful...Thanks in advance...

    .....we were sssooo happy then suddenly it snowed here in vancouver..we were blessed!! thank GOD!!! again...to all who are still on the wait...i pray that you get yours soon & just PRAY hard & hang in there...to all who helped us...thank you much... feels sssoooo good!!!

  7. hello everyone just want to know of when can we have our case approved? we have the NOA1 last October 06,2006 and is wondering others have had their approval already. I know that cases are different but just want to know or want some hint of when can our NOA2 be approve? thanks for all the help guys, I have been reading the forums and it a big help...

    It depends on how long you take to get your AOS, but I believe it is possible... see below
