The program is expiring on April 26, he is filing adjustment of status for his wife can go for adjustment of status but his son is still a minor only 4 or 5 years old, does he have to file an I-130 for him. She already has another son here, that one no problem because he was us born here therefore a US citizen and already got his US passport. -
Asking for a friend his family Wife and Son came here under the Biden CHNV program, he's doing adjustment of status for his wife, what about his son? what paperwork can he do to adjust his status. I was doing some research and I found out if the child was born after he got his citizen then it would be a simple matter, since the child was born before he got his citizenship, he has to file for imigration papers for his son, one his son becomes a permanent resident, then the can file citizenship paper for his son. What form do they have to file to adjust the son, since both Mom and son are here, is there a way to add his son to his wife adjustment of status?

The son was born before he became a US citizen. He became a US citizen last year but the son was born overseas 3 years ago, but Mom and children are now in the country legally.

Writing for a friend: Dad is a US citizen, wife and son came to the country last year under the Biden Parole program. He's going to file for Adjustment of status for his wife, what about his son? My sister in law has her green card and has already filed for her US Citizenship, Can she applied to bring her son, get the process started then upgrade her status when she becomes a US citizen? What's the process to bring a 7year old child from overseas for someone with a green card? Thank you

Spacibo! She had an RFE from uscis for the I-130, she just sent them Various proof and a week later she got approved, now can we just load those same documents to NVC? I thought those documents would be share but maybe it's different portal?

I have a friend who's death, she's on public assistance, Her husband is in Haiti(Married 3 years ago) She filed I-130, it got approved last month and now the case is at NVC, what documents she will need to upload on the NVC website. 1) For Co-Sponsor is that 2 I-864 forms that need to be filled out or just 1? 2) what documents she needs to upload to NVC? 3) How long does it normally take to get interview once all the documents are loaded on the NVC website Thank you for all the feedback

Assuming that she comes with the green card, she has to spend more time in the US than in her country, and let say in about 5 years or so, she can apply for us citizenship, once she's a citizen she can comes and go, and stay in either place for as long as she wants.
