Well...if you really want to know...It all started 2 years ago in February of 2003. I had just moved here to Sacramento in June of 2002 and started my first semester at Sacramento City College. I had decided to take a night chemistry class (I never take night classes because I'd rather go in the a.m. and work p.m. shifts) anyway, I took this chemistry class and saw Victor the for the first time. I know I know what I'm about to say is so cheesy but it's the truth. Believe me! I saw him and my heart skipped a beat, I just thought he was the hottest guy on earth and wished that I would be brave enough to talk to him....yeah right...well as the first week of school passed, I was hoping that he would sit near me in lecture. Our lecture was in a lecture hall (movie theatre style seating) and he just kept sitting in the rows behind me! I didn't want to be all obvious about trying to find out where he sat so I tried to listen for his name and see if he answered. But of course with him sitting behind me I couldn't tell. So for a LONG time we didn't even know each others's name! Well come to find out when we started having lab sessions, he ended up being in my lab also! The only thing was that another guy had beat him to being my lab partner. I even purposely sat down quickly to see if he'd sit near me but some other guy took his spot and he ended up partnering up with a gay guy who thought he was hot. :D So as I talked to my lab partner more Victor's seat in lecture moved closer and closer to mine until he ended up in the seat right in front of me. Knowing me I always had snacks in my bag and my lab partner and I ate ALL the time in class. So finally one day I decided to tap on his shoulder and offer him some snacks. After class was over he walked me to the lab class and finally talked to me! Get this it was at least 2 weeks or so of just looking and blushing before we actually talked. I was so sprung off of him already though, it's like I knew he was the one even before knowing his name! Our lab ended at like 9:30pm and the parking lot was really far from our class and after every lab he just happened to always be walking near me! The strange thing was that for a while we'd always walk to the same area where we parked but didn't know we parked near each other everyday. He got to school before I did and I didn't even know what car he drove so there's no way we parked close together on purpose. Anyway as the weeks went on, we finally realized that we both had the same cars, Mustang GT's except mine was red/convertible and his was green/with the whole Flowmaster exhause etc. So we went for at least 2 1/2 weeks talking and walking with each other to our cars at night not even knowing each others' names! Oh and you're probably wondering about my lab partner. He dropped out like on the 3 week of school and Victor eventually became my lab partner. So after sneaking around at night and going out with each other like everyday we finally made our realtionship an official boyfriend/girlfriend thing on April 28. By then I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. Then he told me about his situation. I figured how could we have a future together if he doesn't exist here? He wants to transfer to UC Davis to pursue him BS in Biology to then apply to med school! So on July 12, 2003 we got married and started all this paperwork. Well here's the catch, we ELOPED! Nobody knew I was married except my co-workers BUT they didn't know why. My family (which is in the Bay Area) never found out. But don't worry, I finally told them last month (August 2005) because I couldn't keep making up stories as to why Victor wasn't home a lot. In the last 2 years we've been married (2 1/2 years we've known each other) we have never been separated for more than 2 days. This has been the hardest time of my life and for him also and I'm glad to know people like all of you on this forum. So much support and it helps to know that we're getting through all of this together.
