I came to Colombia in 2009, I'm not really sure why I wanted to study, I wanted a change, I wanted to travel, I needed an adventure, I had already visited in 2008 so it was the right combination of familiar and new. My fiance and I met in August of 2010 through mutual friends at a party in Cali. We did not really interact that day, he barely acknowledged me. That same year in November a friend was having a baby shower, he was there I was there we clicked but we lost communication until Feb. of 2011. We got to hanging out and talking online. He was a tough catch but well worth it. End of we March beginning of May we had our first date. My mom was in town for a visit so he got to meet her, she liked him and got instant approval. Beginning of April we started dating "officially". A bit over a year later, after having met my mother, one of my sisters, meeting his parents and sister, living together for about 6months, moving to Bogota together and our fair share of ups and downs we want to get married!
Colombia has been great to me but I'm ready to move back home and would love to have him join me. I joined VJ for help, information and support.
