Met my wife on a mission to west Africa where she'd emigrated from her home country CAR. They have had perpetual strife on/off and she had traveled to Ghana. We stayed in touch and a two years later I sponsored her on a student visa. We got closer and married in 2012 and did all the paperwork for a green card which went all too well. Being US military, good credentials and a girl who had Honors grades at Seattle Community College did not hurt at all. Two years later, 2014, conditions removed and now eligible for submitting USC application. We have to wait a few extra months but all good. VisaJourney has been great.
