Thanks! I think I will write them as well, this is interesting that they want you to schedule it yourself. Did I understand correctly that the dates in February are available for scheduling, but you wanted to have the interview in March? I'm just wondering, because February would be fine with us.

Correct. As of last Wed there were three dates available for February with multiple spots and time slots. As of this morning, I believe, Feb 2nd is all booked, there are two spots for Feb 7th and 3-4 spots for Feb 21. My parents want their interviews for the end of march or any time in April.

@stacys, Did you get any update from Almaty yet?

Yes, they responded that they had not opened their interview calendar for 2023 and recommended to continue checking on traveldocs. And couple days later the 2023 calendar appeared. So far it only shows available slots for February and all other months are greyed out. I will continue to check for dates every day, hoping for slots to open up for the end of March

Hey! My parents have not received their interview date yet, we were just notified that their interview location will be in Almaty. My understanding is that NVC will schedule the interview and we don't have any control over it. We still need to create the accounts with UStraveldocs once the interview is scheduled. When was y'alls DQ date? Interesting to see what Almaty says.

I-130 was submitted in December 2020. Approved in February 2022, DS-260 was submitted in May 2022, and all supporting documents were accepted in September 2022. We received appointment invitation for Warsaw mid January 2023 with a scheduled date February 7th. They literally gave my parents 3 weeks to get to Poland :)

I wrote two emails asking to transfer their cases - one to Jerusalem and one to Almaty. While I was waiting on Jerusalem to respond, Almaty replied back that they had requested both cases. That was on January 19th. As of today both cases are in Almaty but  now i do not know how to schedule my parent's interviews. Almaty is pretty responsive. I'll wait and see what they say

  4. Runner19, did your parents receive scheduled interview appointments in Almaty? My parents interviews were scheduled for Warsaw in February, since they currently do no have Schengen visa, I reached out to Almaty post and they immediately took over their cases. This morning i received an email from Almaty asking me to create a profile for both of my parents at ustravelsdocs and schedule their appointment. I created their profile but got a message that no appointments are available. Now what? Do I check every single day? Do i pay for a bot?

I emailed Almaty just in case and I am waiting on their response. But i was wondering if anyone else received assigned interview appointments?

  5. Hello Everybody, I am having troubles with my biometrics appointment. I filed my paperwork in the beginning of September. The check was cashed in 2 weeks later and then complete silence until November when I received yellow letter. I waited until Thanksgving to check my case status online to find out that apparently a biometric appt letter was mailed to me Nov. 11 but I never received. Following the procedure posted on the USCIS web site, I filed a request to receive a copy of the appointment. I received a confirmation saying that I should expect a reply from them by January 2, 2015. January 2 came and left without any response from the immigration services. I had to call USCIS January 5 and notify them that I still have to biometrics appt. A representative filed another request but sent it to a local office. I was told I should expect a reply within 14 days. After 17 days of waiting I called again and was told to wait to 2 more weeks. I am a little bit confused. Is this normal? Status online shows that my case was assigned to an officer but it has not yet been assigned for processing. Should I be concerned? Should I schedule an Infopass apt?

  6. I filed I-751 based on divorce. Filed early August 2012, Noa dated August 9th, biometrics September 1st. I haven't heard anything until May 19th when I recieved a RFE from Vermont. They asked me to send them my final divorce decree, which had been mailed to them with the original package. My guess they either lost it or just missed it in 300 pages of evidence of bona fide marriage i provided. The waiting game goes on.
